Kazami Shiro was severely injured by the mysterious secret organization of Destron. However, with the cybernetic remodeling-surgery performed by Kamen Riders 1-Go and 2-Go, he was revived as Kamen Rider V3.

But Nigo served as the lead for a good chunk of the original series. As a matter of fact, he was created after Hiroshi Fujioka suffered a leg injury while shooting. Even in the opening credits after Ichigo's departure, Nigo is listed as simply "Kamen Rider."

This series is still is. Black is popular do to the fact it returned for the rest of the late 80s and the return of horror and mystery, for a new generation (80s youth) and yes the suit design. Like Jetman, For me V3 is over rated. I seen other characters did it better then V3(Ichigo, X, Stronger etc.) and the mask is so ugly. Hate the big middle pattern. This would return via ZO and J.

I agree. All of the Kamen Riders have suffered some form of hardships or tragedies such as being forced into fighting evil or being experimented upon by villains but out of any Rider V3 would really be suffering from some extreme PTSD.

Technically Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, etc all exist in this universe so it`s a Tokusatsu Universe.

Basically all of Ishinomori's work exists in the same universe. As far as I know, most of Sentai takes place in the same universe, but Heisei and Reiwa Kamen are typically standalone except for Fourze.

Showa riders up until Black RX exists in the same universe. There’s even an “ishimoriverse” in Gorenger vs JAKQ, but after that as far as i know every sentai exists in the different universe. If you want to know more, look up Kamen Rider Stronger’s 7 Rider storyline, 5 Riders vs King Dark, and last 10 episodes of Black RX.

@@aleronhawk I consider all the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai to be in one universe or that`s what I feel it should be. It may create some problems but placing these in different universes would just feel isolated and these may just be separate shows with no connection whatsoever.

Hurricaneger 10 years after also exists in the universe where there's no sentai after / before hurricaneger. And of course there's kyuranger...

Nice storyline . Shiro kazami the main character victim of destron assassination n fuel of vengeance cause of his family brutally murdered . He requested the riders to transform him to cyborg but the riders reluctant to do so. Shiro`s courage risked his life to saved the riders from destron trap until riders transformed him to V3

Toei, you obviously know people in the West are fans of KR, just officially release the series already! And get the Sentai license back from Hasbro and release everything prior to Jetman, Hasbro isn’t going to release them for sure. Then release the Metal Heroes, then negotiate with Marvel and re-release Supidaman! Heck, I’d pay $$ for subbed releases of everything on this channel!

There's technically already an official english subtitle dvd release of V3 by a company called Generation Kikaida but it's crazy expensive. Like $125 for a box set. Way too much for dvds.
