I love how the song describes Zein as a choosen and desired saviour that claims it is mightier than all the previous Kamen Rider, but at the end it shows he's someone that can only bring salvation through destruction.

One of the most crucial lessons that I have learned while watching Kamen Rider Outsiders is how Zein is both figuratively and physically the representation of the phrase "the heroes will always win" taken to ridiculous extremes as well as that certain in-universe character that represents all of the Rider protagonists because many of the actors are too busy or even retired already to come back in their roles. In terms of being a plot device, the reason why Zein is being perceived and classified as the "antagonist" from a narrative point of view is because Foundation X is now actively recruiting Rider villains from every previous series. So in a way, Kamen Rider Outsiders is making full utilization of dramatic irony in hopes of keeping the audience excited and anticipating the unexpected. Indeed, the dramatic irony it is now on the villains themselves, especially Foundation X, as the purpose of their return after many years of being off the grid means a lot for being a crazy-prepared organization hell-bent on creating a long term project because now the villains are forced to protect the world from Zein but again, the villains themselves also have a track record of their contribution of crimes from the past which added more fuel to the dramatic irony already taking place in the series.

Perhaps episode 6 will finally give us the full backstory why Yuto willingly volunteered to be the host body of Zein but here are my speculations of what must have happened in his future is a stable time loop after all and that gives us the full understanding why Yuto returns to the past and that is to stop the Foundation X from ever completing the recruitment for Project Outsiders because in hindsight, the defeat of Zein by the hands of the Outsiders was a success indeed but that evidently created another chain of events in which the balance of good and evil was once again flipped around as many of the heroes no longer have their powers, the members of Outsiders have been split into two teams, one led by Gai (also being backed up by Ark as his supporter) who desire a world where humanity and AI can live in harmony ever since Ark began adopting many of Gai's positive qualities. Meanwhile another faction led by Kuroto, who desires to create his own religion and that started a civil war amongst themselves.
