Let's Go is a song written in 1954 by Soviet composer Vasily Solovyov-Sedoi and poet Mikhail Dudin. It was originally written for the film Maxim Perepelitsa starring Leonid Bykov. The movie itself was released in 1955, and the song has achieved fame and popularity independently of it ever since. To this day it is still used as a so-called drill song (somewhat similar to a cadence call in the US Army). In 1959, Vasili Solovyov-Sedoy received the Lenin Prize for this song.
I do not own any of the audio or footage used in this video, all content belongs to their respective owners. All the footage in this video came from "Вооруженные силы СССР. Army USSR" • Вооруженные силы СССР.... .
These songs are for educational purposes and do not reflect my beliefs or are meant to further a political agenda.

I think this is a good representation of the soviet union, a quiet rural beginning where upon more and more patriotic voices join the march. Then the music grows to match the vocals (a good metaphor for the rapid industrialization of the soviet union). The marching will proceed to get louder and louder until you realize your speakers were on mute the entire time, and there are soviets at your newly east german doorstep.

Besides poor people in America have historically had far better life standards than the poor people of other rich nations like germany or france or britain compare the US with a backward mess as the USSR is just dumb. Originally the verse about hard work and study and flourishing cities was not in the march, but was later substituted in to make the song sound less aggressive. The original verse said: "Let the enemies remember, And it's not a threat, it's a promise, We have gone through half of the world before, And we'll do it again if necessary."

Sorry, I know that's just a joke but I can't stop myself. As marxists, we do not see this glorification of the military, mainly in an imperial core country as something positive. The US army, even if only as diplomatic leverage - but generally not - is used to enforce the imperial relation Lenin wrote about. People being against the US military is not bad. But as some country like Cuba, North Korea, or Vietnam, with their workers liberated, have their armies subservient to the ploretarian state, and as a peripheric nation, unless there is a reintroduction of Capital, the army is only used for self defense, supporting other revolutionary movements and for civilian aid, such as workers for transporting supply. Also the inclusivity of this ads only has the problem of ironizing their struggle. Feminists, and LGBTQI+ have long fought for the elimination of a patriarchal cishet normative society (something Cuba and Vietnam are getting increasingly close to), and those struggles are generally aligned with class war. A movement that does not include the liberation of all is still reinforcing the ideas of capitalism, where groups are discriminated to have less advantages in the market. So placing that on a military ad of a nation that propagates this idea and finances fascists dictatorships, such as in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Chile, and even in my homeland - Brazil, that harshly oppressed the already oppressed. In other words, we need ploretariat, black, queer and women liberation, not more of them participating on the system that opress them.
