I got the same treatment when I was in middle school. Called an Oreo (black on the outside and white in the inside). People and kids said/say I talk white simply because I don’t always use African American vernacular and use “big words” like “antagonize” and “impetus”. Some black people have acted bitter towards me after hearing how I speak and conduct myself. Black men say I’m smart because I’m getting a college degree and but they somehow manage to make what is supposed to be a compliment into an insult. I’ve been called a coon because I date white men…. A coon. Also been called racist. (Even better, there are still Black people who think that Black people cannot be racist.) People have said I was born the wrong race. The list goes on. And it’s almost always Black people ridiculing and disrespecting other Black people yet upset when other races say the same thing. Black people are one of the most backhanded, bitter, and colorist races towards their own people. We are destroying ourselves and entertaining the stereotypes that society has set in place for us. Sad.

@Nonyah1232 ай бұрын
its a systematic problem in the black community. Girls raised without fathers, no self respect, go on to do this, and end up with a deadbeat loser, bears his children, he leaves, her daughter is raised with a oversexualized mother that has zero self respect, and no father, her son is raised with no strong father figure and isn't taught to respect women, and the cycle continues on and on and on. I have never seen a black woman that has 2 active, respectable parents, grow up to do anything like this.
