S. Ajmer Singh ji SSA you explained it very well, I have the same kind of experience. In high school I got influenced by this theory only because my birth in a Sikh family, about 90 % of communists of Punjab are from sikh families. I tried to understand their leaders, most of them were below average, wanted to be the heads of states or lead the nation, they were mentally unhealthy, could not think out of box, no capacity to analyze things at their own, smokers, so narrow minded and like well trained parrots speak the same words. there are so many questions, and flaws in communist theory. Sikhism is not a regular religion but ever evolving philosophy served the people, serving and will continue to serve in the future, guiding and helping people to live a healthy life and develop a healthy society, Great encouraging Sikh History encourages to live fulfilled life, guides and helps to face today's problems of fast life.
