3 species of bears in Tibet and Nepal, Yeti is most likely one of them Himalayan Black bear- common bear species, aggressive, unlikely to be mistaken for yeti or ape Himalayan Brown bear- uncommon, maybe it is sometines mistaken for a yeti, but these bears are not aggressive and tends to run away Tibetan Blue bear- extremely rare, these are the biggest bears in the himalayas they are slightly different variation of brown bears and highly aggressive maybe more carnivorous- this bear with a lighter coloured fur and greater size is likely mistaken for a Yeti in my opinion
