Coming back to this after possibly 10 years, still sounds amazing and Kami is stunning 😍

What a family, all that mighty music, bee-uty-full. Had the pleasure of seeing them in Kilkenny every time they showed.

The Thompson family clearly has musical talent in their blood. Each seems to have a touch of despair in their voice. It's an alluring sound.

Very nice. Kami has inherited talent from her father and her mother ❤

This is just lovely. Original, thoughtful, orig and insightful lyrics. A lot of meaning in a clever turn of phrase. Beautiful voice. Love how you sing "Meee---eeee---eee" as if a little embarassed to be self-involved and also knowing that's what's emotionally important to you. Combining the emotion and a wry comment on it the same time. Nice guitar too,

What a Talent! No riding on anybody's coattails. The Family album was really enjoyable. They need to make another one with more participation on each track.

Can't this tune out of my head ...beautiful chords, vocals and acoustics....brilliant solo too.....wondering if Kami writes primarily solo or with a co-writer ?.......this stuff should break through as its a real performance that has a lasting quality

i really like this. looking forward to hearing from "the rails" project she's in now. her voice really sounds a bit like Richard and Linda kinda mixed up, without the Irish-ness of some of their phrasing.

just click on to something that makes you happy then and let us miserable bleeders be miserable, myself I like happy and miserable songs as long as they are performed well, and this song certainly is -what about the million selling song by adel-someone like you ,if that isent a miserable song i don't know what is, but its a brilliant song, as bobby macfarren sings,DONT WORRY BE HAPPY

Nice, BUT, strumming DULL.

Well...could perhaps have done with a little more colour from the 2nd guitar, but I'm sure her old dad is probably the best one to give her advice. Richard can pick a bit, too, as I'm sure you'd agree.

zzcanasta Agreed. Mind you, I bought Richard's latest album which I thought was dull as ditch water, very disappointing, gave it to the charity shop.

Sadly white people making "happy " music just end up sounding silly.

"Even if it ain't enough" sounds "happy" to you? Interesting. . .

The Thompsons are all very well but they are so bloody miserable. The old man could get away with it 40 years ago but this lot now just sound like a load of winging self-indulgent saddoes. Cheer up for G@d's sake! They are a parody of themselves. You actually start wondering why they don't just top themselves. They don't look too needy to me. Perhaps they should try really being oppressed and hard done by - I don;t expect they would put up with it out for more than a few minutes. Grow up.
