You're right, my bad. Here ring tails are a distinct reddish ginger colour especially underneath. Closer slowmo inspection shows no skin beneath that guy

That's a sugar glider, they can sort of fly. Be careful working hollow trees it would be extremely sad to chainsaw one. Also try to preserve their habitat if you can, dead eucs can stand for many years and they can continue to use it for shelter/nesting. They are sociable so where's there's one there's usually others, way cuter than standard possums.

Hello again Eric, i've had a chat with a few people on if it is actually a possum or a sugar glider!! most people say its a ring tail possum and too big for a sugar glider, i'm no expert so not sure! i'm always careful and have a lot of respect for the local wildlife, i normally try to talk the client into letting me leave a large stump, great for wildlife and less work for me :)

Haha yeah i've had a few incidents with possums including being pissed on, mainly by the brush tails :)

That is a ring tail, got no webbing between the legs, mate had one turn around and piss in his face but there normally really timid but will run up your arm like its a tree branch.
