If you're interested, you should check out some stuff from Caroline Polachek; she's kinda got the same thing going with her voice and uses it in such unique ways for her own musical output.

When I heard your voice on your channel i just thought "how could they process this voice so much, when in recording with no effects it sound so beautiful"!
