i remember beating this game in a week and sigrun was the last thing i did, i beat the game on normal difficulty but changed to easy for sigrun since i couldnt beat her even with the heavy niflheim armor and didnt have enough time to grind since i was borrowing the game, even then this has been the best straightforward story game i have ever played.

Don’t roll! Side step it! So do not double tap X, just tap X once to strafe / side step in a direction instead. With the lava fire ball version, you need to time it with a delay in between. So you hear her scream “Valhalla”, then you side step the fire ball, then you wait for about half a second to a second, then side step diagonally again either left or right to avoid the slam. Hope this helps!

The first time I beat her, I think it took me well over a hundred tries.. Lol I swear my controller buttons didn't work at times because I know that I hit the button to dodge lol. After that I didn't play it for almost a year, those Valkyrie's pissed me off.. 😂

@@wilbermontoya2652 yeah i use that haha it doesn't really help with vahalla stomps though timing is key no matter how fast or far you dodge she can and will still get ypu if timing isn't perfect but it helps a lot with pretty much every other move, but i also feel like some of the stomps are delayed and i still get hit even though i litterally she her feet touch the ground in front of me then it cuts to me getting stomped 😂 i think its a bug not sure it's always been an issue

matthew cooke I'm late man but I can relate to what you said 100%. Sigrun is HELLA BUGGED/GLITCHED!! All of the other valkaries seem to be legit though... I've beaten sigrun at least 30x on GMGOW NG+ with 3 no damage wins recorded & I can tell you through constantly fighting her countless times, that she is the cheesiest boss battle I've ever seen!! I got a few videos on the PS4 of her landing & missing me & then immediately warping on top of me on the fire stomp smh & also a video of me attacking her & suddenly out of nowhere she'll do the cocoon shield while I'm in mid attack & I notice but it immediately explodes in my face while I literally have ZERO time to even react. Like why put moves in the game that you can't even counter or that just come out of nowhere!? GOW is a masterpiece game but they got Sigrun wrong in a few areas trying to make her too challenging. When the CPU needs to cheat to win, you know there's a problem... I been trying for another no damage run for the last few days & to no avail. The fire stomp is too hard to dodge consistently for me. All of my perfect runs, I think I just got lucky she didn't do it as much. I've realized that it's 60% skill & 40% luck involved with her battle. Going from 1 stomp in the original game to 5 in NG+ is really grade A cheese 😴 Not to mention most of the floor is on fire from that BS so when you try to dodge other attacks, you accidently dodge into the fire sometimes & the small arena doesn't help dodging. It's really sad that if you're off by even 1 tenth of a sec while dodging, she stomps you out... I can beat the other valkyries with level 1 armor on at this point but the queen bitch is sadly a failed attempt at a great boss 👎👎 I hope they do better with GOW5 boss battles... couldn't imagine fighting a bugged Freya valkyrie queen 😬

Do you guys know if that move at 5:38 where she swoops with the scythe but doesn't actually hit is because that move has a limited amount of ground it can cover, or is it actually an intentional feint meant to bait you into mistiming the block of the actual swipe that she does next? Cause goddamn that move caught me out more than a few times when I faced her and I didn't know what to make of it

This is my third run at the game. The first was mostly normal, but also on easy for the valkyries. When I got better, I went for the difficulty right under GMGOW. I got bored eventually, and did a GMGOW run. Holy crap was it difficult. Honestly, I gave up when I reached Muspelheim, and only had Göndul left. I went back to my original save, however, the difficulty now was too easy. When NG+ came out, I took the original save, and did the gmgow difficulty. It's been a while since playing it, but I finally defeated Göndul. Tackled the queen a few times, with not much luck. Strength is at 366, runic at 307, and defense at around 317 or so. I saw that removing Zeus armor might make it easier, so I'll try that, but in GMGOW, I'm sure that I'll still die in one shot, depending on which one she does 😂

how to do fast skill attack? i always got my finger confuse because changing weapons and sometimes i press too fast and i got bare hand instead so annoying im on hard mode + and fighting this beast now hahaha she deals so much demage cant get her health below 35%

HoboBoy You have to input your next skill attack at about half second before animation finish, don't spam the input, it takes some practice but is very useful. Keep going, you'll beat her soon enough!

No, switching armor doesn't reset cooldown. When Kratos runic animation is about to finish, do the next runic attack so it comes off immediately. The example is at 0:15

Props man, that was insane. I am dreading getting to that fight and I have better overall stats than you, I'm at level 10 but my diamond is filled to just above where the box meets it. Mines balanced so I have every skills additional bonus unlocked, I've already played a new game + but only on the second highest difficulty and I unlocked and upgraded everything. So far my GMGOW experience has felt pretty easy other than boss fights but even then I have 326 HP so I can take quite a few hits. If you or anyone wants to know my setup just ask and I'll be happy to list it.

Talisman of Realm is for manually activating realm shift (L1+O). For realm shift on dodge you need Kvasir talisman or enchantment.

So you can get the Perfect Amulet of Kvasir+ as an enchantment you can equip in your armour slot in New Game Plus, also he might have the Talisman Of The Realms, or the Glowing Eye Of The Nine Gem. There is another one I am missing that also slows down time / creates a Realm Shift as well.

They're useful for stopping the attacks when she jumps in the air(besides her Valkyries) if she jumps up ready to do one of her blinding or smoke attacks, shooting an arrow cancels it
