True, I appreciate his kindness but the kamote guy doesn't have any valid excuse at all and without a license. He's already screwed from the get go. I wish there will be more patrols and apprehensions like these, so we can reduce kamote drivers significantly. They cause accidents and traffic congestions, making our road transport experience a hell for everybody.

Sadly daming corrupt sa LTO kaya ganyan ka hell ang mga daanan natin sa dami ng kamot. Masakit sabihin at marinig, pero karamihan sating Pinoy kamote ng driver sa Pilipinas. Kahit kumuha ka ng legitimate license, ang dali ng exam, unlike sa ibang bansa na ang hirap kumuha ng License, kilangan mo talagang pag aralan or mag enroll ka sa driving school talaga na accreditated ng gobyerno. Tapos may constant enforcement sa batas trapiko, so may nasasampolan kaya mas kaunti ang pasaway. Hindi man perpekto, pero malayong malayo sa sistema sa Pilipinas na halos wild west ma ikukumpara. Piniperahan lang tayo pero walang improvement. Madali ang exams para mas madami ang mag Apply. Baka ang iba pa dyan kay Associate sa car dealer para dumami ang kickback nila dahil sobrang dami ng private use bike at kotse na nagpapasikip sa traffic. At ilang dekadang pinabayaan ang public transport natin.

You could push it along the sidewalk, as long as you're not riding. But usually the sidewalks here are up, down, up, down. So it's nearly impossible to do that unless you're strong enough to constantly lift or push the bike over sharp tall curbs. And you'd have to keep moving because if you park the bike on the sidewalk, it becomes an obstruction.

Sus daming may drivers license holder kamote din, mga legit pa yan, hindi lang dahil sa fixer na equivalent din sa walang drivers licence. Dapat talaga higpitan ang pagkuha ng License at may 150 questions test na hanggang 3 mistakes lang. Tapos bigyan ng hand book na sobra na lahat ng info at sobra pa sa 150 questions ang posibleng laman, para talagang pag-aralan ang mga batas trapiko, safety at courtesy. Ang mahuli mag cheat may banned kumuha ng license for 10 years,m + multa. Then after ng questions test para sa learners/student license. Tapos after mga 150 hours of learners driving, pwede na magtake naman ng actual road driving test para sa provisional (hindi full license) na walang isang failure. Then keep mo yan for 2 years na walang violation then pwede ka na maging full license holder. Sa ganyan tignan natin kung marami pang kamote.

I'm only 15 so I obviously don't have a license, but honestly though, I think I have more road knowledge than squids like this. Ever since I got into the motorcycle world back when I was 13 first thing I did was research on every possible road law that I can know and how to be a better rider, Traffic signs, hand signs, road lines, being a defensive rider, signals. You name it. Me and my mom saved up enough for my first bike and gears and applied all I learned from my research. I now get to ride on long trips. Yes I've been on checkpoints but honestly the only thing that saved me from getting my bike impounded was the way I dress up as a rider (Yes I could only afford the basic gears and not a full on riding gear but it's better than flipflops and shorts). How I ride and keeping the necessary things on my bike and how I address the law when I'm speaking to one. I'm turning 16 in July and I'm hyped to get my Student's license, I also read that you could get an official license at 17 so I'm hyped for that too
