Yup. I deffinantly have a respect for alligators and crocodiles. whenever I see one in the wild in North Carolina I will observe from a safe distance. I also always see Anoles running around my grandmas house. I have tried to catch one but I always fail to do so. Anyway keep up the good work. I like seeing what you guys do.

Put your hand down on their back quickly without hesitation. Do not slam down; just a firm pressure because they will wriggle. Pins them on their belly so they can't move then you can pick it up to hold. I've got real good at catching all types and sizes in Texas. I've caught a couple of Anoles too. It's fun I love reptiles. I just show people or check out the lizard for a min and let them go were I caught them. Fence Lizards are by far the hardest imo but I've been able to snatch a couple. I was watching one for years that hung around the area where I worked and it was big. I finally caught it though since it kept taunting me ;)

Quite a bit different. Water moniters are an entirely different genus and have different behaviors in the water. Whereas iguanas can be territorial or skittish in the water.

In Australia many of the locals in Northern Australia will tell you it's quite ok to swim with the fresh water or Johnson croc's. These crocodiles are smaller and not as bad as their larger salt water relatives. They will still bite though if threatened
