King Khan hopefully these beautiful animals are saved and don't end up going extinct :( as I assume in Pakistan you don't have the same laws as we do in the west saving animals and stopping them from going extinct as Pakistan can be abit backwards at times which is a shame as it's a beautiful country with lovely views :'(

Can they feed their crocodilians various invasive species?
@ArmednotTriggered5 жыл бұрын
I grew up near the Alligator Farm and we actually don't have as many invasive species up here. It's in Central/South Florida where many of them thrive. But it would be hard to ship enough food up to them. I would love that idea though.
@NoahCarlcia5 жыл бұрын
Hey I’m the keeper in the video. Like the previous reply stated, invasives are few and far between. But we still get in nutria every once in a while. The gator outpost in the outpost used to feed their crocs invasive tegus... but they regurged them quick.

"Mugger" literally means Crocodile in many North Indian languages. Infact, my friend had an old village lore. Back when the British ruled, his village had a huge Mugger on the river. Many women and children who used the river regularly to wash clothes, collect water, or bath were attacked. To avoid this, the villagers used to keep a sacrificial lamb or goat every Amavas (No Moon night) to prevent the threat of the agitating the beast. Even a couple of British officers who were mapping or navigating the river have been killed in incidents.

What fish do they have in those croc habitats? Curious. CAN they be food -- or are they just algae cleaners?
@campbellslee67735 жыл бұрын
In Australia, the saltwater crocodile eats mainly mud crabs and barramundi, a local fish. They're also partial to feeding on human beings if given the opportunity.
@NoahCarlcia5 жыл бұрын
Campbell Slee hey I’m the keeper in the video. Only the Nile Crocs have fish in the enclosure on purpose, and we’ve never seen the crocs eat them. We do find lots of pesky Arthropods on the pool bottoms when we drain their pools, so we figure having some fish isn’t a bad thing. The Nile croc enclosure also has a bio filter system for the water, and the fish help with that.
@campbellslee67735 жыл бұрын
@@NoahCarlcia Interesting, the saltwater crocodile in the northern states of Australia are an awesome animal but very dangerous. There are "Croc Wise" campaigns warning people about the hidden dangers and croc signs everywhere. You just can't go into the water, fresh or salt, anywhere.
