Yesterday I spent the day with my 30 animals! Giving everyone fresh water, feeding veggie eaters, picking up poopies, adding new hides and drift wood to enclosures for enrichment and to keep things fresh! I'm gonna dedicate a day next week to dusting lids to terrariums and light fixtures and clean all the glass so its spotless!

Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought about growing a lot of the foods for the herbivores? Like collard greens and green peppers and other vegetables? Because I recently got a rabbit and I started growing a lot of her food and it turned out to save me a lot of money just growing her food.

That was fun . Lagatha really seems to be settling in nicely . Hey man , speaking from experience , don't ever pull anything with your Chopper without having a counter weight on the front , or it will kill you !! Something called hydro lock can happen and it will bounce the front end up and down with such ferocity that you can't do anything except wait for your back to break .

I hope to see you build an enclosure so I can start a new one to give him a better quality of life. We live in Colorado, very dry state. Do tortoises do better with a companion? Thanks kenan for all that you do.

@kamp kennon how long would a 300 gallon stock tank last for a common snapping turtle
@StonedGamers4 жыл бұрын
About 2 years. I have 2 of them in a 300 gallon stock tank from Tractor Supply. (I have some videos on my channel about setting one up). I'm just now about to upgrade my tank because they deserve something bigger, though I could wait another half year if I'd like. Good fun to toss about 100 of the cheapest goldfish you can get from Walmart or Petsmart in the tank for the turtles. (They usually cost about 16 cents each at Petsmart, a hundred cost about $18 with tax. Turtles have fun, get fed, and they last about a month. MAYBE one or two survive if you have alot of hiding places - just make sure to invest in the like $8 fish health stuff, either drops or tablets for the water, just to make sure the fish are clear of parasites.)
