Diseases such as allergy, asthma and arthritis are becoming more common. Genetics alone cannot explain this increase, but maybe the new field of 'epigenetics' can? Colm Nestor will discuss what we know about human epigenetics, how epigenetics may be involved in disease, and how we can use epigenetics in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
