Fun fact. It is said that it's cheaper to just turn on your AC 24/7 than having to turn it off in the morning and on again in the night. Because it costs tons of wattage to turn the AC on because its trying to lower the temperature of the room. But, when it's already on since the morning, it doesn't need to do that

@@tobubiifyAC power is surging mostly on turning it on due to exhausting the heat inside the room until it reaches the temperature you set. And if your AC has an inverter function, it will enter in it's energy saving mode by eliminating wasted operation in ac's by efficiently controlling motor speed.

@@tobubiifyI don't know. Usually when it's over 100° outside, the AC is constantly running to keep it from getting hot. And that's when it's not even set low, like around 78°.

@@N40AX I sweat a lot, like "have to mop the floor around me every hour" a lot. My room is also packs heat in like a mf, to the point that I have at times slept outside my apartment at night due to the heat.
