Thank you. Watching this took me back to a wonderful memory from about 45 years ago. My father was a hunter, he brought home a deer and I was not 3 feet away the whole time my Dad was cleaning it and breaking it down, just a little older than your daughter is now. When he was done, he held out the heart and told me he was going to cook it, he then told me my Mom would not eat it, I asked if I could eat some with him. "Of course" he replied. I did, it was delicious and no my mom didn't have any. A beautiful memory of my dad, he is gone now but so many of his teaching are dear memories. Thank you so much for helping me recall this memory today. ❤️

Just kidding. Im ur age or close ;) thats an awesome memory. My stepdad and i was ur age at the time, took me hunting several times for deer. I remember sitting in the woods, in the freezing cold, and we never saw a deer :(. Still cool memories though

Pan fried heart is so delicious! It has a taste all its own. I dredge mine in flour and pepper and fry in cast iron. I make a fresh mushroom gravy with the browned bits and serve the sliced heart and gravy over egg noodles. I like your idea with the chilis. Sounds very tasty.
