We used to have the meat department in our local grocery t tenderize it then we would cut it in strips, roll it in egg and flour and pan fry it. Delicious!

Properly clean the valves out and slice it into rings, then pan fry while basting with butter and tyme, much better than boiling it lol

It's healtier cooked, because of trans fats etc. Frying on butter is especially not good, except ghee (cleared) butter. Fried meat generally have stronger taste but for health you can also consider eating cooked meat. And if you get used to it, it is also very tasty, but taste is more subtle, so if you are used to shitty food, it can seam blend.

I love beef heart, but I don't believe that this is a good way of preparing it. First of all, this heart wasn't properly cleaned. Excess fat should have been trimmed from the raw heart, and the valves should have been removed from inside, before cooking. And boiling this heart was a bad move because it will make the heart unnecessarily tough. After all, the heart is a muscle. It has to be cooked correctly in order to prevent it from being tough. After cleaning beef heart, it should be cut into small chunks and slowly braised with ingredients that help to tenderize the meat and give it great flavor.
