To anyone need it: how to make sub tasks: 1. use or shift+return(configurable in the plugin setting page) instead of return, you get one layer hiearchy, do not add tab or spaces in between. 2. how to get multiple layers hiearchy tasks:double the or triple them

To add a description of the date format you can update the "Date display format" setting of the plugin and do something like "[Due] MMM Mo YYYY" which will get displayed as "Due Jun 6th 2023"

Can we get all the notion app features with obsidian...I want to shift from it to this. The problem with notion is 1) no offline usage (which i need) 2) no handwriting(which i need the most) But what I want in other app from notion is 1) customisable kanban boards and linking notes within it (mainly) 2) And every other feature of notion Heard obsidian can solve this. (Hope so!) Could you give me some insight on this Thanks in advance.. 😀

I can only recommend that you try it for yourself. It’s free. Obsidian requires that you do more setup and configuration when you want anything more than simple note taking. I use both Notion and Obsidian.

When I go to view in Markdown mode, and then click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner the option to "open as Kanban board" doesn't show up. In fact, my options menu is totally different (starting with "backlinks in document," then "reader view," etc etc). I can't figure out how to switch back! help.

You can open the command palete and search for kanban. You should see "Toggle between Kanban and markdown mode".

Mind readerneeded. You typed in task then another task but never remarked on how to enter them onto the board. You just did it off camera. Not much help

when i enter newline, then enter date and time and enter again, both date and time showing normally, but theres an added @{2021-5-22} for example formmated as word below the task in the card, how to remove the@{2021-5-22}

There is a setting in kanban settings near the bottom called "Hide dates in card titles" toggle it and it should not display the date @{2021 ...} in the card. Hope this helps
