In Kanchipuram there is a testing centre which will test the quality of the jarigai and grams of gold and silver in the saree, the testing centre is running by Central Government, few fake dealers are located in Kanchipuram they sell duplicate Saree as original silver jarigai Saree, customers should be beware of these kind of fake dealers and they can ensure the quality with the help of the testing centres. Original silver jarigai always have resale value because it's contains silver and gold in it.

Maybe those are not pure Kanchipuram sarees. I've heard that handloom sarees from Kallur (a small village in Tumkur District, Karnataka state) are shipped across Karnataka, TN and Andhra.

@@akshayhb8035 Kamjeevaram sarees are Tamil Nadu special. And Kumaran is known for it's original real sarees. Nobody wears fake sarees in our family.

@@Nutty_Vlogs I'm not denying the authenticity of the saree. The raw material (silk) used to weave kanchivaram sarees comes from Karnataka. Kallur is famous for handloom sarees. We all know the effort that goes in to weave a saree. If you're getting a silk saree for a much lesser price in Kumaran then they may be getting it from Kallur or from some other place.
