1 of the reasons this exists is bc society tries 2 make women seem like they will b single, lonely, & miserable without a man. Un4unately, some women will sacrifice everything not 2 b single, even if it means burning bridges with people who genuinely have their best interest. I c this happen a lot with black women. Kandi is a business woman through and through. She explained the business side of headlining in her “Speak on It”, It was never a diss to SWV, she even admitted that they have sold more albums than Xscape. But I personally can’t blame them for not wanting to lower their fees/status. It wouldn’t make good business going forward for their group…who makes 3-4 times that SWV does. I get it because if it had been most people I know, they would not take less either. Love both groups, but business is business!

So true. Ms. Kandi has always been about her business. It's never personal. That is why she is the boss of many businesses and successful at it. Like she said, somebody has to be the bad guy, and she just happens to be that person. And so be that as it may. at the end of the day, she had to speak up and try to get the best deal, not only for her but also for her group members.

It's fine to be a successful business person and share the knowledge you gained, but it doesn't make you right about everything. Nor does it make you right about someone else's business machine and how theirs run. SWV has cleared the air countless times about this also. There never was anyone asking to lower fees or take any pay cuts. That was false. SWV does not make 3 to 4 times less than them. That was also false. This also was never about top billing on a tour because a tour had not been planned between both groups yet. This was about a co-headlining performance, one show, featuring both groups together for one night. And since it was a co-headlining gig, they were trying to figure out what would be the best song to close the show, Weak or Understanding. If this one co-headlinging gig went as planned, a tour would then be mapped out for both groups to do a tour run. And only then would a promotional budget be ironed out with a contract and company. For that one co-hesdline show, they got paid the same, because they're both marquee veterans groups. 'Honestly I think Xscape's own internal issues spilled over into that show. More than it was about SWV.

How do you or Kandi know how much SWV are pocketing ?? SWV is an international best selling group. Kandi had a clear bias to want to headline but it didn’t make sense for the groups. They were bought in as equals by a network who were looking to partner on a tour. Xscape where trying to pull rank on SWV, and Kandi used that excuse to make it seem viable for xscape to headline. SWV could of used all their stats to argue the same. They were hurt because they just wanted to tour.

Business and personal, which doesn’t mix. Salt & Pepper, express the same feelings about SWV. I think they should sit down and discuss the situation, since everything has died down. It wasn’t something that should’ve been headline to begin with. It was a collective project for one night. SWV is the bigger group and you won’t admit it and that’s fine but you definitely came for them first. As far as everything else I definitely agree. Tamika is riding with Tiny and Kandi after she admitted to finding out the Kandi and Tiny tried to go behind her and Tocha's back to own the right of their name, then Kandi explaining it was actually Tiny's mom who did that. They all very sneaky and tamika is choosing to surround herself with thesed woman. Had Tocha never found out and told tamika about it, they would have never paid for the right for their group name. If it really would have worked out for Tiny and Kandi to own their group name they would have treated Tocha and Tamika like dust. YOU may be confused, but I for one refused to be pressed. And please be careful with that "can't define a woman" complaint. It's a right-wing dogwhistle to trans-hate, and black people do too much water-carrying for white supremacists.
