I recently saw Xscape in DC this weekend and there performance was stellar. The vocals, the dancers, the visuals, EVERYTHING was top tier. Everyone was entertained from beginning to end. I see why they ask for top billing on there shows, they bring the heat. Xscape talks the talk and backs it up.

I'm 47, and I grew up with both of the groups. SWV was my favorite group in their time. Escape was my favorite group in their time. Tiny and Kandi has been in the public eye for a minute. So we're more familiar with them they're going to draw the larger crowd that is correct. And even though I love SWV, I would never just go to a show just to see SWV. But I would for escape. I rather see three powerful singers than just looking at CoCo oversinging everybody just my feelings. So I hope they take these words and just take they ass on tour and get that money.❤❤❤

I've been to an SWV concert where they were performing with other R&B groups. It was just an okay performance. Like you said, it was just Coco doing the singing (she sounded amazing) but there was no oomph to the show. Taj is sweet. Lele just be in her own world. I think Xscape has a little more grit performance wise.

47 and I feel the same. I didn’t realize how close they were because I don’t remember the albums dropping at the same exact time. I just knew I liked the songs. And I listened to them both. I never had to choose. Now I liked some of SWVs songs more than than any Xscspe songs. But I like more Xscape songs. Like the first two albums I listened to non stop. Now I didn’t rock with the last one form xscspe so much. Now weak is my favorite of all the the songs from both of the groups. I’m not gonna lie. I wish they just got along.
