We basically have to take these queens words when they showcase how much "hate" they are receiving. Anyone who puts themselves out there better be prepared to deal with the few crazies who pop out and attack them while focusing their attention on the 99% who love them. All it takes is one "threat", that we typically don't know the severity of, for them to highlight and play off of in social media. It is sad that a few "fans" are messaging but at least its not the stalking or phone calls that legitimately happens with bigger celebrities.

Well the comment she made to Elliot was because Elliot has apparently been making a lot of micro aggression comments towards the POC queens. My problem is I just feel Drag Race US has just become more and more about the drama that it just feels less fun. Like in earlier seasons it was always a well balanced that when we would get those moments like “Party City”. I’m here for drama but I also love Drag Race to laugh. Drag Race UK gives me the drama and the comedy. Drag Race US producers needs to figure something else out.

I also think that the US version stopped daring to make certain jokes, it's very washed dowm now, that's why the lack of comedy. It takes itself way too serious nowadays and merely functions as a brand, a drag queen frabic in motion every year, it feels manufactured, controlled, like nothing about it feels like it flows naturally anymore. UK kind of has that spark left.

Because even Raja from season 3 said she had tons of outbursts on the show but they didn't show those to us when they knew she was going to be crowned the winner.

I'd say fans need to stop being so morally superior to the girls who do have outbursts. As past seasons have shown, even the most polite queens can have outbursts on the show because that's the environment production creates. Jaremi is one of the nicest queens irl, but is also the greatest villain on the show. And I'm 90% sure a lot of the shit Kandy does is with the motivation to make good tv (like Shangela stirring the pot knowing fully well it'll cause drama) and isn't just her reacting

Asttina also never really showed the passion or drive to be there. I'm not saying she didn't want it. However, when watching that lip sync you also see how badly Tia wanted it where Asttina very much so was like "look what I can do! I am talented! I can dance! I have this in the bag" I think that's one thing people forget is that lip syncs are not just about how good you are it, but showing how badly you want it. That you have the passion to be there.

In my experience, having lived in both countries, UK drag is generally more campy and weird than US drag - not always, but often - and I think that one challenge of having US judges on DR:UK is they're just not going to resonate with some of the campier british drag. Which is a shame, because we have a proud history of it and it's so wonderful.

Very good point on why did Ru book Ginny in the show. I think the show ying-yang contestants. I don’t like the hate against Kandy or her mother, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be allowed to feel some type of way about it. It’s not “just TV” that’s literally how she is on and off camera she wasn’t pretending for entertainment she probably would’ve beat Tamisha if the cameras weren’t on. At this point it’s Season 13 and the girls should know that you can’t just act like that and get away with it, if it was just some petty drama about the show like some critiques or the competition itself and they argued about it that’s one thing, that’s the drama we need, but what they argued about was REAL and kinda unnecessary. I really hope production hasn't done another Season 11 and pulled out all the stops to keep a queen on the show when they ought to have been sent home just to keep the drama/noise alive. Things wouldn't have been half as bad for the Season 11 queen in particular if the show had sent her home when it was time -- how many times was she safe when everyone knew she should have been in the bottom? Wait but why did Tamisha took it so seriously when Kandy said Symone was the one to beat in the previous episode? She took it as a personal attack when nobody else said anything, she clearly felt her ego was being hurt by someone by not acknowledging her as a big threat, then she tried to make it about it being about the other girls not just her. See, I dont like Kandy and her loud ass mouth, but I dont like Tamisha either cause she is being a hypocrite, telling us how she is so above the queens who are not on her level, how she thrives off negativity, how so early in the competition she "doesnt like some of the queens (while she argued with Kandy about disrespect, well, disrespect that she took personally, it was not even about her), and on top of that, silly people saying how she doesnt acknowledge Kandy or the drama, but she out there posting fan messages that talked about hating on Kandy. But since she is this "royal" legendary mother of drag queens, nobody seems to care that both of them fueled the drama hard. Everybody just talks about how Kandy was rude, overreacted, she was bullying, and all we clearly saw and disliked, but they are really hard brusing off the parts where Tamisha started both fights, both times. People are such hypocrites that they choose to criticize someone and turn a blind eye for the other person🙄

I had to stop this video to make a statement about all the wonderful moments in Untucked that didn't revolve around drama. Moments of personal stories that speak to the resilience and hardships that the queens have gone through. Moments where family members sent videos from home, that have left me and surely you, in tears. Moments that made me realize, that as different as we are, we share far more in common as human beings. Moments that are just as interesting and unboring as the dramatic ones. Can we focus on moments like these just as much as the dramatic ones? Please.

sending hateful comments is absolutely wrong and kandy threatening on physical violence during her rant was so uncalled for. Then we have VH1/Wow sayin "dont be like that" but then force feeding us these storylines to get the ratings (cause we know many of these arcs are fake/exaggerated by the producers). Like when do this queens draw the line? Or are they willing to be extra nasty and rude for their 15min of screen time just to say "thats not me gurl" like that says a lot bout their character imo. Im just here to have a good time lookin at the creativity put into their drag but that drama is very 00s let it go
