No doubt that you spent a wonderful day with nice up and down train rides. But can you please summarise in just 2 plain sentences what your hack is?

Instead of getting the 7 hour journey from Kandy to Ella to experience the train ride. We got a 1 hour journey from Nanu Oya to Hatton to experience much of the same views for less money and time. A good hack if you have a 1 year old baby.

@@FieldofVisions 1 hr is definitely better than 7 hrs. And for foreigners this 1 hr includes the experience of riding the train while the door is open, interacting with local travellers etc. 😁🤭 So it might be 50% the experience as well. But for locals, the attractions on the way matter a lot. So I guess it is not much worthy for locals to consider as a hack. Enjoy your journeys and have a good day!

@@mcalexy2k right, a hack is also cheap alternative, which is what this ride was. It passes through part of the journey and you get to experience a short portion of what is a very long train journey. It’s give the option to people that otherwise wouldn’t have known this and having a 1 year old and sitting through a long journey on a train can be quite stressful to manage at times. So yes it is a nice little hack.
