Nice work on the bass. I love that bass line. watching this made me get emotional. keep up the practicing on the guitar and keyboards. so you can play an instrument you can write songs with later in life.

Come Together, is although one of the most underrated Beatles’ songs. It has a wonderful “simple” baseline but difficult to play good. And if you search the video by Ringo Starr explaining why he played this drum part in this way (he’s left handed and has ever played right hand drums), you understand that the bass+drum part is something that has to be taught in every music school. Now I looked and payed attention to the whole video, lot of times. Drum and bass are stunning perfect. Also the rest of instruments are pretty good. I still feel a lack of confidence in the vocal part, but … but Yoyoka is a twelve years old Japanese girl, and sing an adult English written for a man, has a lot of difficulty, so I don’t see as defect. Sure, in the next years we will see that also this aspects will become much better. Yes, definitely I like this version. And still I’m waiting for some Dire Straits drum cover. They are much more difficult than they appear, and Yoyoka will nailed them.

You know she's been singing leads and back ups almost since she started, right? When Kaneaiyoyoka plays she performs lead vocals on at least 5 songs and back ups on dozens more, depending on how long their set is for the gig. I don't recall her ever being uncomfortable singing, especially on songs that she wrote herself. Plus she does A LOT of MCing from her kit during shows, cracking jokes, introducing the next songs etc...

@@jackspratt7264 oh I know. I said that coz on her previous 2 she did, she looked a little tentative. It’s one thing doing a gig with your parents or others (it’s a safe and comfortable space), it’s another when you’re doing solo (in English) on every aspect of the song. Kudos to her for continuing to challenge/improve herself. Plus like her mom said, she found her shyness. And it was obvious to me that she seemed ‘quieter’ and more ‘serious’. It’s part of growing (12) up. She’s always been a very matured girl, an old soul. This time, I think, she’s taking things a little bit more seriously coz she knows what kind of level she’s now. But I’m glad to see that funny and charming side of her in this song.
