Eren and Ken Kaneki are not the same characters, Eren was consumed by the rule of peace that he became evil on that point and Ken Kaneki after so many terrible things (my personal opinion Ken Kaneki exhausted a lot more than Eren himself) that he experienced continued to be good and in the manga he did not kill Yamori himself because he did not want to become like him. that's also why i say this because i prefer ken kaneki much more as a protagonist or even i consider him the best who was never created just as you consider eren the best i consider ken kaneki the best (i'm still talking about manga if anime then eren is 1000000000000000000000x better than ken but manga ken is literally better than him)
