I just have to tell you, you have taught me SOOO much! I just did my basement cement floor in blow outs because why not experiment as an artist & I'm madly in love with it!! I've said it before but after doing my floor I just had to say thank you again! Thank you for being you, & sharing your world & knowledge with us all!❤

I save my acrylic skins inside office supply clear dividers, on a 3 hole punch & easy to organize them by color. Also you can see front & back of skins at a glance. For very small pieces I lay them on butcher paper before inserting them into the notebook

Thanks for the tips. For dipping the cabochons in paint. I purchased golf tees from Amazon. I used sticky putty to attach the tee to the top of the cabochon. I then dipped the cabochon in paint, left it straight up by pulling upward. I stick the pointed in of the golf tee down in foam and let dry. I did not come up with this method. I saw it on another channel and I am so sorry I don't remember whose. It has made life so much easier than trying to dig it back up out of the paint without disturbing the paint composition.

Great video. I usually glue the cabochon to the skin then cut it out. And when i do classes of a painting and jewellery then we dip the cabochon into the wet paint from the painting. So they have a matching painting and necklace and earrings or key ring whatever they prefer. Its a lot of fun. I love the coloured trays. I will get some and also the coloured chords for necklaces.

So true about the paint skins sticking together! I originally stored mine in a paper photo album thinking I was being very clever except it was more tissue than parchment! Needless to say *my precious* plus the album, had to be tossed🙄 Love the "landscape" - what a clever idea to look at the skins from all angles to get the best image - beautiful work Kanella👌

Hi Kanella! Thanks for the tips and tutorial! These will be fun to make! As for family gifts, they wouldn't work for me! My family is very "real gold" and "real silver" "I'm allergic to anything else" oriented! It's ridiculous, but oh well!

Hi, love your videos and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent. Question: you once recommended Stone Coat Countertops Art Coat and now I see on Amazon you recommended ArtResin. I trust your advice on recommendations so I was wondering why the change? I’m torn between knowing what type of resin to buy. I’m using it to seal vases, coasters and trivets. As always thank you so….. much for your opinion.😊👍

I have never used stone coat ever. Must have been someone else. As for art resin I used to use that over 5 years ago I only use Krystal resin now. Been using it for almost 5 years now. See video 429

Have you ever tried to cut the skins woth a cricut? I remember you mentioning at some point that you got one. I've seen someone cut out a turtle from skins, glue it on the outsode of a scrapbook and use UV resin to protect it and make it shiny - voila, pretty personalized scrapbook! Looked awesome, but i can't remember the channel
