the most entertaining parts of this mod to watch to me are the parts with monika and how she reacts to the changes. its entertaining to watch

And it also makes her more sympathetic. It conveys the crushing loneliness and pain she feels in this one so much better than just piling all of it on in one lengthy explanation near the end while treating her like a horror movie villain for the rest of it.
