Sae-Byeok’s personality is a mixture of Gihun’s and Sang Woo’s. She was tough, stoic, and determined to win no matter what just like Sang Woo. But she also had a good heart, was caring and could never kill anyone like Gihun. That’s why they were the three finalists they all resembled each other in some way.

She eats potatoes like that reluctantly, because she is sad about the tragic death of her short time friend in the marbles game. Yet she is rational enough to know she has to eat to survive. So her rationality wins unlike Gyeon who does not touch his potato as he is so sad because the old man has just been shot. also her throat is blocked somehow because she is crying inside :)

On the front wall of the office of the broker "남남북녀" "South Men, North Women" is written, that means his official business is marrying south korean (generally old) men with north korean young female defectors, that represents the hardship that female defectors face in my country. In South Korea, marrying this way is being seen somewhat dengrating, because here people generally think only desperate people do that. To marry to get out of poverty. And judging by the broker's dialect, he himself is a north korean defector.

I think you got a detail wrong, Sae-byeok and her family escaped through the Tumen river in the North into China and traveled to Mongolia where they are deported to South Korea (Mongolia has the policy of deporting all Koreans to South Korea), this is the most common route used by NK defectors. The DMZ is way too dangerous to escape through and has only been done like 1 time recently when a guard drove his vehicle straight through the border (they guy was shot a couple times but survived)

@@alexvaughan1013 it does make sense that the person closest to the explosion was wounded the most, as gihun got his arm slit pretty deep and Sangwoo not taking too much dmg at all. The last explosion wasn’t a manual trigger but was instead automatic, especially since in the last 5 seconds they were still in the glass tiles. Regardless the glass explosion was purposefully set by the game to maximize the amount of deaths

@@alexvaughan1013 to me it seems that the exploding glass was not meant to injure those players that beat this game and that SaeByok's injury was accidental. Maybe this happened because they only just got off the bridge with moments to spare. The idea might have been that those who reach the end go through the door, protecting them from the flying glass, but these three didn't have enough time left to do that.

You got a few things wrong. First, the initial price was 4 mil KRW, same amount Gi-hun won betting on a horse race. That was pickpocketed and used to pay the broker. The 40 mil KRW is the increased price, and is the reason Sae-byeok re-entered Squid Game.

when it was just sae-byeok and sang gi-hun left. why coudn't they just vote out to stop the game and win by majority, then, one of them join again and this time they are against someone completely random, they win against the random person and share the money. hmm, they could've kinda done that from when they first voted to stop the game, but I guess you just can't be sure to trust that the person that joins the game again can win against someone random. the plan would be pretty smart to split the money once they win, but then again, what if they lost?

Sae-Byeok was silly in going back to the Squid Games. She could have found other ways to pay the broker and if she failed in that she would still have been there for her brother. The change of winning Squid Games was tiny, about 200 to 1. These odds might have made sense for Gi-Hun who was doomed anyway, but not for Sae-Byeok.

And hey, everyone thinks that jun Ho survived and teams up with gi hun Who will be the New front man, Netflix has to and will do something nobody thought of. So what if in ho (the season 1 front man) already knew that il nam will die, so he is gonna be the new host, and so he already thought of someone Who could replace him as a front man. Sang woo is cold, smart, and was (/is?) willing to go over dead bodies. So hes kinda perfect for this. Thats what in ho thought aswell, so he used a super secret expensive tool to revive him and Made him the New front man
