I Survived by the Smallest Margin in a Custom Explosive Spleef Arena!

In this episode we try spleef again without vehicles but this time I've built an arena that can completely be disconnected from 4 main support pillars.

What happened was he threw it at your feet. The game thought you were standing on the grenade and you rode off into the sunset because you were standing on a moving platform (the grenade). @@___________________________-.- No, not necessarily. A rocket jump describes taking the force vector of something for instant propulsion to extend reach or velocity. Usually an explosion, but it can be any kind of object, as long as it's instant propulsion without prolonged contact with the object. A rocket ride uses a rocket as a vehicle to get from a to b, skipping terrain and other hindrances, usually with prolonged contact to the rocket. The main difference is how long you are in contact with the element that gives you the force.

@@maskharat There was prolonged contact, it was more than a single frame. There was multiple frames of "standing" on it--not in free-fall--as the platform went up. It wasn't knockback, it was platform logic. If the instance is due to moving platform logic/momentum carrying of said platform, which it was, then it isn't considered rocket jumping. The following is the top result from googling when asking the question "what is rocket jumping": _In shooter games, rocket jumping is the technique of using the knockback of an explosive weapon, most often a rocket launcher, to launch the shooter into the air. The aim of this technique is to reach heights, distances and speed that standard character movement cannot achieve._

Imagine this idea. . . but instead of grenades and RPGs, it's satchel charges and delayed landminds. Satchel charges are like C4 in a bag that you explode from a remote decimator (meaning you manually activate it remotely to cause detonation). The land minds explode after 1.5 seconds after walking on them. Enough time to run over it and escape it's blast radius, but you gotta not be slow.

Spleef with no weapons. Idea is you make a grid with an explosive under each grid space and a button on top of each grid space. But you don't know what button is connected to what explosive. Each person picks a grid space then you push your buttons at the same time, anyone who doesn't blow up then has to walk to an adjacent grid space and push button. Repeat until everyone else is exploded or forced to walk into a hole.

You should do a blind battleship style game. Stand on opposite sides of a wall and use switches to trigger specific quadrants to try to sink the other player and/or their creations etc. Btw I really like the twist where you can disconnect the platform!

The map are in similar design that of wipeout. Either the land seperated by water, or things trying to knock you off or simply slowly change the world, by like a tall, slowly spinning wall. Forcing you to change plans or if you can. Destroy the wall itself. Or a combo of these 2 ideas.

You could do a battle ships style spleef have a Giant industrucible wall in the middle huds off and throw the grenades over the wall you would have to avoid holes while darting around probably best with 4 players
