I Built a 1st or 3rd Person Camera Choice Track!

Hey everyone and welcome back to more Zeepkist! Today we are building a 1st or 3rd person choice track where the player gets to choose which camera view they want to use to complete the track! This track involves elements that are difficult in either view at different points so we'll see what the winners use!

I would love to see a theme based around something like board/card games (Chess, Black Jack, Etc) and trying to either try to drive around chess pieces or drive on towers or poker chips, something cool like that 😁

Every time I have seen Warcans in the wild (which isnt all that often) he seems to wait till the last 3rd of the time limit to put a top 3 time down XD. either that dude likes the pressure or he studies the track for a while first

I've been watching a bunch of your Zeepkist videos recently and absolutely loving them - might have to try purchasing the game for myself! This is one of the better looking tracks that you've made in my opinion, too. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

I bought it after watching kAN and them. It is fun, but difficult. I would definitely recommend a controller, as the default controls are arrow keys, right shift, and enter for Player One. The Player Two controls are much better, using WSAD, Left Shift, and Enter, but you cannot currently swap the control scheme except for "keyboard" or "controller".

13:14 What if it let you keep going while your time is less than third place? If someone is afk their timer will be at 10 minutes and it will end their run.

I can see an alternative to this, what if it was based on a calculation from the verification time. If Yannic has a formula he uses for gold time, set it so overtime is based on that, such that anyone who is doing the course before 0:00 can try up until that time or their next crash, whichever comes first

Do you think you guys could play community made tracks? Maybe showcase some highlights of playing multiple tracks in a day. Maybe you could do like you did with scrap mechanic where you each find the best tracks you can based on a theme and then play them. It'd be some good varied but also interesting content while also supporting the community

It would have been cool if you made a track (or theme, but it might be a bit too similar to this one to have it soon) where you have to do several "laps" of a track with several branching paths (with individual checkpoints), where one of the paths makes you go into first person mode. The player would have to choose when to switch from third to first person and which branches to have left to do after switching view. It would be best if the track was designed in a way where you couldn't (or at least it wasn't obviously optimal to) just switch just before going into the finish.

I think first person seems like it would make it hard to maintain speed in the pipes, since it makes it harder to stay in the gravity well when you can't easily orient your reference frame...

Are you guys not putting the hands up when going uphill? I think the dev (is his name spelled Janique?) explained that that pulls you upwards (which for exaqmple gives you more distance on jumps). But if it also works while in contact with the ground, you could gain speed on hills (and in loopings) by lifting your hands on the uphill parts.

What about an inverse track. You have to do the track one way, then at the end you have to turn around and do the same track, but backwards. Meaning the start and finish are the same place, and cp 5/10 is where the end could be.
