Thank you Australian rescue volunteers for saving and rehabilitating fire-injured koalas and wildlife. You are HEROES to the world. And you are ANGELS to the koalas and wildlife you rescue.

Where is Scott Morrison? Why isn't the government paying for this?

@@edwardcarter31 Their country probably/should have some sort of catastrophic relief fund that they could tap into. And the PM should be doing more to help. Makes me sad for the animals.

@@lillyc7861 hi.... there is no government in Australia that would have a fund marked as such...instead when a national emergency happens they would fund relief and reconstruction from their current budget which would have an amount set aside as contingency expence.....conservative govts by nature usually sit back and wait on others to come in first whereas a social govt leads from the front.....a prime ministers job is not to go in and get his hands dirty as leader it is his job to be there leading and marshaling his resources to overcome beaurockracy to bring about speedy work to relieve and resolve the crisis...on this occasion our leader chose to holiday in hawaii after the fires had started. ..he left the country without the public knowing, the press asked his office his whereabouts they refused to confirm he was absent... the world knows what happened next ,the upshot he is no longer very popular?
@lillyc78614 жыл бұрын
@@edwardcarter31 oh okay, thank you for the explanation. And yeah the holiday part kills me and he's not looking very popular at all. It just looks like he doesn't or didn't care about the fires or all the animals and people caught in the fires. I was wondering what is he doing now? The media hasn't really covered what he IS up to lately? Its mainly covering the wildlife rescues, fireman, fires, and rain but nothing about him.

@@lillyc7861 me again on loss of native wildlife....we have lost on best estimates a billion yes a billion natives...last april a group of retired country fire service chiefs tried to see this prime minister to express deep concern over this current fire season, they tried and tried to see this prime minister he ignored them they wanted resources organized like advanced and heavy duty equipnent....due to ideaolgy that man ignored them and what was forecast by these retired experts came ... the country was caught totally unprepared. ...unstoppable fires across the country...which crop dusters used as water bombers and a few elvises could not cope with...only yesterday was a heavy duty water bomber stationed in my city Adelaide.,,re Kangaroo island .100 miles from here. over 20000 koalas unkown kangaroos. .half of the only colony of liguran bees in the world lost. ..we also had the only flock of black cockatoos left in the world there ..their fate is unkown at this time all of this plus thousands of sheep and domestic animals lost...its just appalling and shameful that we had no heavy aircraft to give those animals a chance. ..i am ashamed of our leaders.
