Hmm, a mode which changes every month with a different card pool? That could have been a nice TWIST on wild. Too bad they went with this prebuilt deck stuff. (I thought twist would have been exactly that what that chatter said he wants, it's what I want as well!)

From the very release, twist had a problem with having a high entry floor, especially for newer players. With the format requiring them to craft non-standart/irrelevant cards just to play with them for a month. They Premade Deck idea is fine, and sounds like a cool solution to the problem. Really, complaining about that is a bit delusional

​​@@UefetiExcept if you don't have the ability to customize your deck, it isn't worth playing for two months straight. That's just worth trying everybody out a couple of times. It's a different game mode than what was promised. When they made it, they said they wanted to make something where they could go back through periods of hearthstone, and let people play their favorite decks again, or something similar. Prebuilt taven brawl decks are the opposite of that. That's not why I enjoyed playing twist when it been available. It's playing with wild cards in an area with a lower power level. That's all I want, and that's what twist was sold as being.Just have it automatically iterate through historical periods in HS history if they can't think of anything else.

@@unkarsthug4429 Well it didn’t work. So the changed it. Not even for good, most likely they are experimenting right now. Also having a stale meta with 1-3 good decks which everyone plays is not that different from precon format. And thats was kinda what happened on twits oftenly. Most likely they will rebalance or add new precons on the list in this several months period, because it needs some tweaks right now

@@Uefeti They literally said they'll be turning it off until the end of the year after this, and they've already had the previous guy managing game modes when twist started quit/be laid off. This is probably just about the end for Twist, which is really frustrating.

If Anything can give Twist hope, its this rotation. Maybe they will turn it off, maybe if this version will be successful they will reconsider

For the shaman excavate I think it would be fun if it cared about already existing shaman archetypes so it could be stuff like "give all minions in your deck +2/+2 and they're all minion types" for like the tribal shamans or as someone else suggested give it like "give all minions in your hand and deck spell damage +1"

Pokemon showdown has a really interesting way of giving every pokemon a chance to shine. Theres a regular tier, called OU. The most popular cards.are in OU, but if cards dont see high usage you can now use them in the lower tiers and OU. This repeats over and over and crestes lots of great metas where every pokemon has a good competitive environment but still use them higher up if wanted. I think a hearthstone version would be really cool to see.

That would be really cool! I don't think it's likely to happen ever just because of the logistics of having so many modes, but I wish it would. But if they'd cut Duels, I doubt they'd do that.

Brioche bun, raw red onion. I dont really pay attention to stacking order typically, but looking at the picture it seems like (bottom up): Jelly, Lettuce, Patty, Cheese, Bacon, Tomato, Onion, Pickle, Peanut Butter. I think the PB placement is mostly a guess, it might be on the bottom next to the jelly.

I think the fundamental problem with excavate shaman is because Shudderblock exists they're scared to give the azerite murloc a strong effect.

When Classic came to the game I was so happy, played a lot of it, what I wanted was it to had evolved in a way that it never got powercreept to oblivion... my idea was to each expansion each class only got a single card, and 3~4 netural cards + legendary neutral, those could be voted or something... but of course this would never happen since requires way too much effort.

Shaman excavate isn't as bad as people think! Well okay, it is pretty bad, but Sir Finley the Intrepid is so damn good that recently a Reno Shaman variant has popped up running the excavate package, and it's pretty good. I've gone 32-15 with it in top 200 legend, and I've played the Azerite Murloc I think three times, and won two of them. In tempo matchups, it's actually worth it sometimes, since you don't need Shudder. The list also completely abandons the infinite shudder gameplan actually, and is much more of a control and disruption deck. I still would also be excited for the Murloc to be reworked, since it does really suck compared to all the others, and also the Shaman excavate viability being tied to Finley is lame, BUT it should not be written off entirely. I've said my piece.

I was only talking about the final reward, which does stink and deserves its reputation imo. The rest of the Shaman package is good and fun, which is why its such a shame the final reward is as bad as it is.

I want a mode for Hearthstone where you can choose which year you want to play. For example, if I choose year of mammoth, I will able to play with cards that was in standart pull for year of mammoth. Will be a very niche mode, but I think will be very cool. also they need to make disenchant cards for full price already

Cards disenchanting for full price doesnt work, might as well give all cards for free at that point. Players would just disenchant/enchant from small dust pools to have any deck they want at any point. I do want that select a meta mode though.

Yeah, I dont like those hidden rules either, especially since last I checked they werent explicitly laid out anywhere. Ranked ladder makes things more fun cause you have a visible goal to work towards and visible confirmation of your progress, I dont think any rework of hidden mmr would satisfy.

​​@@MartianBuubrawl has what is known as "hell queue", which is where incredibly powerful decks are supposed to play with each other, people were using powerful cards with pretty misplaced weights and removing all rating chaff that were not essential in order to play against lower powered decks with ultra optimized decks Now granted it is an issue due to the format wanting to pull double duty as a casual format with a competitive slice and again i do understand if you dont enjoy it, but as a not necessarily competitive brewer its nice to have a format that matches your pace, different strokes for different folks i guess

@@MartianBuu It can be boiled down to it easily like this in HS terms: Imagine if we were told cards are weighted by their power level; but it turns out ancestral recall, mana crypt, and a few other high power cards were rated low, while some Competitively strong cards were given outrageously high scores. Players who then mined the system would know that shoving in powerful cards like ancestral recall, mana crypt; and cutting those strong but high points cards could allow them to be paired against people who are playing less than optimal decks because of how the scoring system for cards works. This defeats the intent of the system; which intends to use the quality of deckbuilding to help separate players so the less experienced and smaller collection players don't get stomped, by instead letting the clever deckbuilders intentionally craft their deck so they can be queued against less experienced players and players with worse collections whose decks aren't optimized to the extent of the exploiter's decks. It's basically the equivalent of smurfing to be able to crunch down on weaker opponents for free rank n points.

Holy shit, as someone returning, I had no idea how stupid a card titan Yogg could have been. 2 random effects is very on par with HS and his chaos flavor, but the previous text is just "free for any spell-slinger deck." In wild, or any deck that can clone, something like that could be a lot like broken artifact or neutral cards from MTG that are banned to this day in all formats for their stupid text that should have never gone live to begin with.
