Oooh, that mixed grill is making my mouth water. Can't wait for this bloody Covid to be over so I can take a trip back to the UK, if only to visit this guy's restaurant and try this..

I'm from the Northeastern part of India. And I noticed apart from the bamboo shoot dish most of the food looks unfamiliar to me. Anyways happy to see someone promoting parts and bits of our food culture to the world.✌️

I am very glad to know someone prioritising a cuisine which is not from Northern or Southern India which IMO is over-represented outside India. To specialize in Northeastern Indian cuisine is indeed encouraging. I do wonder about the name though. Karnishka's empire was based prominently in Northern and North Western India, including areas of today's Pakistan. I wish they had picked a name that represents that region better

Mr. Kochhar, loved to see you promote NE Indian food which seldom receives due recognition. But I’m surprised you love mangoes from Pakistan when in summer our very own home grown Alphonso is revered the world over. Anyway it’s your opinion but being a foodie I like to express my thoughts sometimes.

Besides Meat nothing needs to be halal. Stop this religious imposition upon on people. Also have Jhatka meat as an option on the menu which is more ethical as the animal is killed without any pain.
@kbiswas37914 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. It's food fascism. The way things are going no one will be getting any other meat than Halaal. And it's indeed unethical its more painful studies have shown it

I absolutely love Curry's, some of the dishes are not true to what I would expect in an Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurant. How can anyone justify charging the sort of prices these places do? I appreciate there are differing quality's of meat and veg., and presentation of the food, and skills of the chef. But not to the extent of the cost these sort of places are wanting. It's just pretentious dining, someone from some self created judging society gives at a "MICHELIN" star, who are these judging panel and how did they come to be?
