Awesome I finally get to a flight there from the pilots perspective. I have already seen a lot of launch and landing videos from the ground. Sure would like to fly there someday.

Thank you for your nice comment. The camera is attached to the aluminum pipe at the rear of the glider. The latest action cameras have ultra-wide-angle and distortion-free images, so I think you can experience a realistic flight. Thank you for watching the video.

Why couldn't you climb? 🤔

Thank you for watching the video. On this day, the lift zone was on the southern slope in the turning scene in the latter half. It is about 1.5 km from the hang glider's takeoff point to the southern slope. It had lost altitude on the way there and was unable to catch the ascending wind. On the other hand, the paraglider's takeoff point was near the southern slope, so it was able to get on the lift zone and rise. At around 1 minute and 8 seconds, you can see a small paraglider rising in the distance.

This is a video of the takeoff and landing of our friends on the day of the flight. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q17PY4yKeausqNE None of them were able to top out and had to land. However, the last fixed-wing glider took off from a hang area 40km away and arrived in 2 hours and 40 minutes. It had apparently gained an altitude of 3,134m above sea level. Everyone was amazed by this.
