I am happy to see this museum in Nigeria. We dey try oo! I visited the British museum in London and saw that gate , it has being preserved in almost perfect condition from being kept in a climate controlled room. So now that the white man has gone where are the ground nut pyramids ?We keep making excuses in Nigeria. Na so we abandon the groundnut every body put head for oil! Watch The Making of an African Colony on Netflix it is a amazing documentary produced by Nigerians about the British colonization of Nigeria.

It's a shame that our government doesn't do more to encourage tourism and ensure safety. You will soon discover just how much history Nigeria has, in all parts of the country. If only we knew just how blessed we are!

@@TheHappyCompanion That is what i have read, however Usman Ibn Fodio, son of a scholar, and himself a scholar in Islam and a scientist, rose up to establish the Sokoto Caliphate in Nigeria Land, and corrected that deviation, and more.
