I can't describe in full how this album makes me feel. Everytime I listen to it, I find something new. It's the best piece of music I've listened to in a long long time. I've been listening to Kano since early and it just keeps getting better. Few artists grow and keep getting better. I'll be listening to this album for decades to come.

Yep. Right on the ball there! Look at what the radio play these days. Only to dumb down the generation...and they are succeeding at it. It's a shame the younger lot can't see it. Tv shows are all processed and full of fake people.
@symh28134 жыл бұрын
People want fast entertainment, that quick consumption of content. Its why TV shows are becoming so much more popular compared to movies, don't have to pay attention for a 2hr film I can watch a 30 min episode and they will put a lot of the same entertainment in. It's why apps like TikTok are so popular, the creators have to fit everything in small video and at a tiny swipe of my thumb I can see a different video.

A short but powerful documentary. It shows the drive, talent and principles of a man who hasn’t lost touch with reality as many people do. “Trouble” touched my heart with the stabbing scene, I felt it. The fear I feel when my son leaves the house is brought to life in the music for a moment. Brilliant work and I loved hearing the sounds from my youth, the reggae from my family home and the Garage influences of a twenty something. Thank you Kano 👏

This album deserves an award or some kid of recognition, even if it doesn't win Kano should know that this album really resonates with the people that listened and took it in organically, it's already a British classic in my eyes. It's crazy to think music now days is so easily consumed and forgotten about within a week or month. But to see Kano's process and with some tunes even taking up to 3 years to make!!, it shows how much time energy and genuine passion he has for his craft. I slept on the album when it first came out and thought Kano could not create another home sweet home album. For me this may just surpass that as this album not only gives a clear and current insight of whats going on now but also shows the retrospective of where Kano has come from therefore showing his evolution and maturity. The blend of old school, new school and his Caribbean heritage in the sound for this album is also clearly evident and he definitely does not conform to whats trending now in terms of his sonic choices. This album is one of the best albums to come out of the UK in a long while from an artist who has been in the music industry since the days of channel U. All I can say lets gives artists like Kano the flowers whilst they are still here, their work deserves it. I came up listening to sounds of Ghetto Kyote, Pied Piper, Eskimo and all the other instrumentals buzzing in London around that time. It's heart warming to see the longevity of artists who remain true to themselves and the music they want to create. Respect Kane

To date this is Kane's best project, it shows his legacy - it is great to see the growth and development from both Ghetts and him. Both of their recent projects give a snapshot of the current political climate, show their versatility and prove exactly why everyone should check out their discography. As a UK boy, for me these two paint a picture the most of what life is like living and growing up over here. I'm luckily enough to have seen my parents transition from a working class family to lower middle throughout my lives, it has helped to give me the drive I have to make a change and impact in these areas. Want to be able to educate the next generation, teach them a set of skills with Mandarin and English that can open up doors for people to open doors and achieve what they want, to support their family and give back. I've grown up on these guys and they've given me projects I'm gonna listen to for years to come - my kids are definitely gonna grow up hearing the music that they've made too.
