I’m curious about the possibility of a Sarasa route, after all, she knew beforehand that MC was studying business. Who’s to say that Kitagawa wasn’t really interested in MC for his smarts, but was actually interested in the idea he’d be taking over the family business in the future. Seems more into greed than intelligence. She “decides” to like him only after losing first place to him on the exam.

I wish we got to see more Sarasa, I don't know how long they knew each other, but she definitely knew that not only was he really smart, but that he had many reasons for being late and slacking. I do also have to say that it seems shallow that she is only going out with him because he's smart. We only get to see that she learns that he's smart, not that she really likes his personality ot anything else. Depending on more context, I feel like Sarasa might have been a better choice, or even him denying her and being friends first, and then starting to really fall for him might be better.

Just because someone slacks off doesn't mean they're stupid. Kitagawa didn't understand it at first, but after seeing who Kaede really is she finally understood who Kaede really is. Sarasa knew, and now she knows too. And now she can freely date him knowing he's actually smart. He is her type after all. heheheehee i get to share my story this time! this is weirdly mood for me in college im talking information tech since in my college it has animation major in 3rd year. so my goal was animation not programming. but surprisingly maybe found it alot easier to absorb the lessons while im drawing. so i always ALWAYS drew during the class lectures. which is ironic since i cannot absorb the lesson if i try to focus directly purely on the lesson. ADHD probably. that said i mosty appear like im not listening to the lecture and such. but god do i do really well during the activities where the programming skills are applied. i got quite good enough with programming by just listening as i literally drew every minute of the class lectures. that i've been suggested to take advanced programming instead of animation. but nah i want to go animator. i wouldn't have been drawing every second if that wasn't the case. and i wouldn't have absorbed the lessons if i didn't draw. so ill stick to my gut. that said looking like im not participating in the class is very mood.

Sarasa totally wanted to date Kaede. Honestly, I think Sarasa should have been the love interest/FMC here. She knew all along that Kaede was studying business and knew why he was late every day and why he slept in class. And she was already interested in him beforehand for his character. Meanwhile, Kitagawa only started to show interest in him after seeing how smart he was and not for his personality or kindness. Though it's still great that Kaede got to be with Kitagawa, regardless of how he may feel about it hehe I would totally love to see a Sarasa route where Sarasa confesses that she had always liked Kaede and wins him over.

So my brother and I can relate to Kaede. Everyone thought we were incompetent, but we were actually probably some of the smartest kids in high school. No grade we ever had fell below 99% and we were inducted into many honor societies during our time, making us the most decorated kids to graduate from our school. My brother was really good at making people think he was incompetent since he was very good at acting uninterested in lessons but was often paying attention. I slept through a trigonometry lesson once and still passed the test with a perfect score. Our IQs were tested and it showed we both had 160. As for bullies, we were known for standing up to them and often getting into physical fights quite often with them, most of the bullies were either wannabe tough guys or some young street gangster who thought they were tough because of their affiliation with these groups, we never lost even when they played dirty.

Thats why in Austria there is a saying that is used by bosses: "Grades mean nothing." Everybody knows at this point, that school is mostly just a waste of time. When I presented my Diploma, my boss said: "I don't need this crap, tell me about you. No sugarcoating, because every weakness can be worked on or has its uses." I know my boss is exceptional, but it is true, I know many who had better grades than me and are eigther unemployed or earn less than me. It really depends on the person and their interests, not on some standardized bs you torture yourself through.
