I had a breakup like this. Except the girl wasn't manipulated - she jumped to the wrong conclusion all on her own. Then refused to talk to me about it - just said we were over. I (initially) had absolutely no idea why she broke up with me, and she wouldn't tell me no matter how much I pleaded to know why. Just said something generic about us not being right for each other. A couple weeks later she figured out she'd made a mistake, and finally told me what was going on. Someone had said something bad about our relationship in front of us, but I misheard/didn't hear it. And when I didn't correct them, she assumed I wasn't denying it. Honestly if it were just that, I would've forgiven her and taken her back - everyone makes mistakes. But her unilaterally breaking up without any explanation, and refusing to listen to anything I said was a major red flag. Refusal to communicate to resolve problems and disagreements is one of the few things which are a deal-breaker for me.

I would never go back with her even if she begged. To me, that sounded that she was the one cheating on you and wanted a pretext to either break up with you and go with the other guy or just remain concealing the fact that she cheated. Really liked the MC. I like how he called out the FMC on falsely accusing him of cheating and called her an idiot for falling for such a trick. She really believed a random pic somebody sent to her. Even after realizing everything was her fault she still got mad at the Mc for not telling her and the Mc’s reply was perfect. “Why would I”. The bad part of this story is the MC getting back together with her. She’s a red flag and will certainly believe some random pic someone sent rather than her boyfriend.

Loved this story. Mc is strong in this one. Really liked the part where he pointed out how fmc falsely accused him by just looking at photos that didn't exactly prove it was the mc. When fmc said, "Why didn't you tell me?"The mc just said, "Why should I?". This is one of those stories where mc actually respects himself. You know why it's not a good idea for them to get back together? That's because they'll be walking on eggshells. The FL was gullible enough to be fooled before. Even if she promises to change for the better, there is still that kernel of doubt that she might jump the gun again. Hence, the MC will be reserved as well for fear of causing another misunderstanding.

This story is only slightly above mediocrity in my opinion. The MC was no pushover, but he still took her back in the end without any actually character development from the FMC. The FMC, like everyone says, is a walking red flag because she clearly is unstable mentally and emotionally. We don’t get to see her take accountability for her actions and she has the audacity to think the MC is hers after what she did to him. I would have been more satisfied to see an open ending where it shows the FMC improving herself as a person overall.

I think your asking a bit much, if you've been paying attention you'll notice that Kanon doesn't make videos that last long enough for such development. This is already one of their longest ones at 18 minutes. They hashed a lot of character work in this one already. In fact, the only complaint I have is that the characters kept pronouncing the FMC's name wrong😂

I never clapped so hard for the MC and for the FMC as well. But, honestly, I liked more the FMC because I don't recall in any video I've seen so far, someone feeling so BAD and GUILTY for having believed in such lies (damn, she was in TEARS...). This was really heartwarming and wholesome. Kaiki was a much better MC than usual, he called Kaede out for having fake photos of him "cheating" on her, and pointed out that Kaede was set up. And even after what happened, he still found strength to forgive Kaede after having had time to cool down. And Kaede herself was good for realizing her mistake and apologizing to him. She still had feelings for him and join his company to try and get back together with him. I'm really glad the misunderstanding was cleared up, as well as the one brief misunderstanding about Kaiki and is cousin Kotori. And now the two are back together, and Kaede even got to flip out at the one responsible for all that avoidable break up and the 5 years it took for them to get back together. Plus, Kaiki's juniors teasing both him and Kaede were just adorable and funny in every scene they were in.
