I've been through that 4 times in my 14 years of working. The worst was the 1st time I left a company due to poor management. The next day after I left, I got a call from my old HR Manager asking what I did because 34 workers quit the next day when they heard I resigned & they were from different departments. Up till this day I say to myself that I dunno what got me all the love & respect I get from people. 😅

I had a boss that did this. They were insufferable, I left, they called me back a week later to try and get me to come back. I laughed and just went 'sure, for 3 times the pay'. They were shocked and said no one is worth that. 'Well, I was just giving you a chance to match the pay at my new job. Have fun with your problems now.' Every week they bled people that joined me at the new place.

The new boss played the situation well. Not only was she able to make an opportunity to look good to the MC, they were able to poach a large number of competent employees therefore expanding their company. An absolute win. However, I have reservations about hiring the MC's former boss. She, of all people, knows her character as they've known each other since high school. Add working with former subordinates who she had previously mistreated and we have a powder keg just waiting to blow.

Wow , I can't believe it 😯😯😯😯. Yuto quit the company to trigger the other employees to quit as well , he's technically the one who lead the rebellion and mass leave in his company . And not just that , with the help of Hikaru , he was able to recruit all of his junior colleagues at his previous company , it only means he's been planning this from the start 😯😯😯 , such a brilliant idea 😯😯😯😯. As of Tokiko , she's basically incompetent as she it's just she didn't listen to the complaints of her employees , but also forcing her to work excessively , what a terrible boss 😒😒😒😒 . this is alot like what happened with a buddy who worked under his auntie for years, a friend of ours had been trying to get him to join her company for years but family loyalty(that took him a while to realize only went one way with his family, in their favor..).. well.. she lost everybody but the people known to be her little yes-men/women toadie types... and, when the business had to be sold, guess whos business bought them for less then the market value of the equipment, so the auntie could pay off her debt, she got from trying to save her failing business... she wasnt happy when she ended up being re-trained by him and his now wife... let alone her little sister who was still in HS but had a higher job at the place due to exp and skills then auntie ever earned... they employed her and, found a niche for her, but it took them YEARS to get her to stop thinking she could boss anybody around... her own kids wont even have anything to do with her, knowing shes why they didnt inherit grandads business they spent their college years training to take over... the did endup working for their cousin though... doing very much the same work, they do not like their mother, or her friends, and avoid any events she may be at..

hehe "the company president loves his daughter so much, he won't listen to us ..." or take note of everything going to hell internally (long term experienced employees quitting, new hires quitting, increased overtime, low company moral, lower profits, etc) and other glaring signs, such as loss of credibility with their customers, that his daughter was not qualified to be a manager or even a supervisor as her first position right out of college . (competent managers work their way to that position after years of experience on the job.) Nepotism at its worse. At the very least he should have kept an eye on her ... maybe even send in an undercover employee that reports only to him, on the work environment, productivity, and moral are under her command, then if necessary take the necessary actions to improve things, even if it means demoting or firing his daughter - regardless of what his wife and daughter say. Heck, it would have been better on her resume if the daughter - even got a job at his company - she started at a lower position. As it is, the ONLY reason she got the job and position was nepotism, not merit. Would have been even better if she had gotten a job at a different company first, got promoted as a result of her work, then gone to daddy's company at the same position, and got promoted to assistant department manager, then department manager after a few years. He ignored all the warning signs, which (rightly) resulted in his company going out of business due to mismanagement (which is 100% on him, as the president/CEO), making him just another old man in the unemployment line, with virtually ZERO chances of finding another job. As the former president of a company that failed due to mismanagement, he will NEVER be hired for a managerial or supervisory position. Oh well ... Who knows? Maybe one of his business connections will take pity on him and hire him as a full-time low level janitor or grounds keeper, under a competent manager and supervisor ... or he will just retire, and live off whatever savings, and any income he has from the stock market ... might have to downsize though ... sell the mansion or high rise condo, and get a modest home or apartment, drive a old economy car or ride a bicycle and take public transportation instead of a new luxury car, let the maids, cook(s), butler, and other household staff go, (his wife taking over all the household chores) but that's "life".
