This was both cute and hilarious at the same time. Quite realistic too. People with high fever often say exactly what they feel and then don't remember it later because of delirium. It's not as rare as you think. It's called "fever induced delirium" and is quite common with high fever and/or extreme pain. Lol! I once went through something similar. The nurses at the hospital I was in after my motorcycle wreck in '87 never told me what I said or did, but, judging from the giggles and waves I got as they helped load me up for the trip to Tulsa for the surgery I needed leads me to believe that I made quite an impression on them. To this day I regret not having been able to go back and thank them for taking such good care of me. (And finding out just how much of an ass did I make out of myself.)😁
