Man, talk about a turnaround and great character development. Masato was going to throw everything away after losing his job and his girlfriend. But his job was definitely the work slave type and his girlfriend sounded like the selfish type. But after helping Misuzu out with her father's debt, he wanted nothing in return. But Misuzu wasn't going to stand for that. She, along with her mother, helped turn Masato's life around. I'm very glad Misuzu stopped Masato from killing himself and repaid his kindness. They do make a great couple. Not for nothing though, Misato is highly attractive herself.

Here is the aftermath of the story. Misuzu had revealed to Kintaro that he reminded her of her dad, Goto, had done this sort of thing because he had felt like he was a failure of a human being, and that he could not provide for his family because of the shady people that tried to blackmail him for things that he did not do, as his company was a Japanese black company and they were also owned by the Yakuza, but things were looking dire for them, and so, in desperation, they were shaking down their employees, as well as saddling them with false debts, which, naturally, were targeting Misuzu and Misato as well. Misato had to leave the company and become a hostess at a hostess bar just to make ends meet once the black company fell, and, unfortunately, it was also owned by the same Yakuza clan, and it was at this point that the Yakuza were going to put Misuzu into some line of work and make her quit school, and to do even worse to Misato, but a drunken Kintaro entered the scene and had saved their lives. Kintaro naturally had cried and held Misuzu tight, and told her, "Misuzu, Misato, thanks for being there for me, and for saving myself, and my life". Now, in between the time when Misuzu was in her high/upper secondary school years, and when she became an adult, the three of them had sought therapy, not just for their problems for losing Goto, in the cases of Misuzu and Misato, but also for their alcohol addictions. However, who should show up but Kintaro's ex-girlfriend in Ruruka. She saw the face of her ex and she cried to him. Naturally, that kind of made him a bit mad, but Misato held his hand and said, "No, Kintaro, she's like us as well, and we're all needing help here, and we all need to talk to one another in our lives, so don't be mad at her, and hear her out, please". Kintaro had his anger subside and he decided to hear Ruruka's story, thanks to the wise intervention of Misato. Ruruka had disclosed pretty much the same story as Misuzu did to him, and, although he felt like Ruruka was simply repeating what Misato and Misuzu had told him, the truth was actually much simpler than that, and it was that all of the scumbags that had made the company where Goto had worked had simply changed the name of the previous firm into a new name, and it was essentially the same company. Moreover, Ruruka also disclosed something darker, and that was that, in the midst of herself and Kintaro arguing, she was actually feeling the stress of working for a Japanese black company, as well as wanting to save Kintaro from the company, but Kintaro had misinterpreted her words as her being selfish and wanting only money and power. However, the truth was that Ruruka was trying to drive Kintaro away because she too was going to end up in the same place herself, and that, in the long run, she was trying to say to Kintaro, "Please don't end up like me because I love you too much to end up like me", and as Kintaro was thinking about similar thoughts himself in another part of the city as he was heading towards Misuzu, Ruruka had found a friend from her high/upper secondary school days that she had shoved away and, even though she had h u r t him, when he saw her, and saw her about to take the big plunge off of a bridge, he held her hand, then he held her in his arms, and they both cried. Ruruka had disclosed to Kuroda about the company, then Kuroda had disclosed to Ruruka about his company, then they found out that the same people had owned them, and, through the grapevine, they had eventually gotten into contact, through the parents of Misuzu's friends, and found out about Kintaro, and, by extension, also the events that had happened to Misuzu and Misato, so, in the midst of the trials, they had reunited, as well as began to seek therapy for their problems in their lives. The power of that Yakuza clan had been broken once and for all, and they were never going to leave their prisons ever again. Kintaro saw the man that was there for her, Kuroda, hold Ruruka's hand, and then Ruruka and Kuroda noticed Misato and Misuzu being there for him, and them holding Kintaro's hands. Ruruka had said to Kintaro, "Look, Kintaro, I'm sorry for what I did to you, and, although, for obvious reasons, we can't be lovers anymore, we do still have people that love us, so please, can we still be friends with one another"? Kintaro was indeed mad at first, but, without her trying to get rid of the bad influences in her life, it would not have led her to the man that she had truly loved, who was, as Ruruka had revealed, in a rather ironic twist, about to take that big leap as well, but their hearts broke when they saw one another, and so anger turned to sadness. Neither one of them wanted to take that way out, but it was like a moment that was reminiscent of the old Jackson Browne song that is called "Running on Empty". Kintaro and Ruruka saw each other, Kintaro nodded, and the two of them hugged, with tears in his eyes, and then said, "Thanks...for finding the man that you always loved, for, in a roundabout way, helping myself out in my life, and for helping out Misuzu and Misato...yes, we can be friends, so, Kuroda, you make her happy, okay"? Kuroda nodded, and he hugged his childhood, now adulthood, sweetheart, the tarnished high/upper secondary school queen bee/Madonna, and treated her like all of the other guys did back in the day, but way better, and they proclaimed their love for one another all the time with conviction. Now, to the point that is after the end of the video, Misuzu had disclosed that she was indeed the popular girl, but she also disclosed that, yes, the adage was true, which was that people tend to marry those people that remind them most of their parents in their lives, and she actually had saved herself for Kintaro, who was only 23 years old at the time, and now he was 28 years old. Misuzu hugged Kintaro tightly, and she had invited all of her tons of friends from the schools that she had attended, as well as grew her hair out super long, like her mother's hair, and she and Kintaro married a year later. Also, the year after that year, Ruruka and Kuroda married, and their old friends were there for them as well. Misato found love with a new man, namely, an executive who was a widower, Koji, and they married three months after the marriage of Ruruka and Kuroda, and, yes, their old friends came to their wedding as well. Now they all have strong social circles, and all of their friends no longer drink, smoke, or do drugs, and they all are going throughout Japan, speaking out against h a r m f u l ways of thought, as well as the dangers of alcohol and drugs. Kintaro and Misuzu are expecting their first child together, as are Ruruka and Kuroda, and, surprisingly, Misato and Koji are expecting their first child together, though both of them have children from their previous marriages, so that means that Misuzu has more siblings.

Story Idea: An adult woman (FMC) receives a wedding invitation from her childhood friend and her first love (MMC) whom she hasn’t heard from since high school. Flashback shows how during their high school days, she always teased him, but deep down she loved him but was too embarrassed to tell him. Then one day after school, the MMC wanted to ask the FMC something. He then confesses his feelings for her, but in a fit of embarrassment, she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. The next day, feeling terrible for hurting him she tries to talk to him about what happened but instead, he ignores her. After the next few months, he treats her like she doesn’t exist. Then at graduation, he leaves for a college far from home, now realizing she hurt the one person she loved. Now on the day of the wedding, she reunites with her childhood friend. The MMC then tells her how he felt during their days in high school and from when he confessed. Even though he was sad about the rejection, he invited her so he could let go of the past. He tells her he really did love her, even though she didn’t but was glad he had her as a friend. After the wedding, The FMC heads home with tears in her eyes, now realizing she pushed away the man she loved into the arms of another. Once’s in bed to sleep the pain away, she wishes to go back in time to fix what she could’ve had. The next morning, she wakes up and realizes she’s back to when she was in high school. Taking this opportunity she vows to fix her relationship with her friend and to not let him go. (I rewrote it, and I know it’s long but hey I wanted to make it more detailed. Bare with me)

Oh, this video kind of made some triggers happen in my life, especially when I remember losing family friends, and personal friends, and even family, this way, but I am glad that Kintaro (the MC) got the help that he needed in his life with Misuzu and Misato being there for him.
