thanks for the guide, the fact that the best way to play is grinding dungeons without looting the boss makes me think the game is completely broken. that is an absurd way to design a game. i'd rather enjoy the game than do another endgame rush. i've already done that before many times.

Thanks for the guide! I'll definitively check it out today but it always irks me a bit, to see how many currencies there are "from the get go". Different tokens for different activities giving out different currencies to buy items on different timers on certain lockouts and so on. It's a lot to keep track off when you start with everything.

My advice to you is to focus on certain currency only doing that way makes your playtime more enjoyable and you won't get your brain overheated I focused on everything at the start and I was lost 😂

I can't wait for this game to actually defy the odds and have a good player base... because it's been trashed so much by big gaming channels that it's gonna be ignored by a lot of potential players just because of bad PR... I mean it's not a masterpiece of gaming by any stretch of the imagination but at the same time it's not worse than any MMO on the market and better than a lot if not most of them cause it's combat system and especially it's world traversing system with the grappling hook and all the animal morphs is actually really really good...

What I dont understand is, why should you not loot the boss when you get 960 dungeon tokens per day? same goes with the contract coins. How long does it takt to hit 50? 1 day or what?

@@enryu5191 tokens can accumulate to a limit. So you can use them on the next day, for example. Tokens would be better spent on lvl 50 dungeon runs. Its a min/max strategy, you can spend them on the low lvl dungeons if youd like but the best optimal way to use them would be on lvl 50 dg loot. The same with contracts, they accumulate to a limit. You could do all of them at lvl 20, but you would be missing some extra rewards if you had done them at lvl 50. And its possible to hit 50 on day 1. Took me around 16 - 18 hours on the kr server. I could probably do it way faster now that i know what i am doing.

@@enryu5191 We don't know what the experience rates will be. On Beta, I manage to level to 50 in less then 8 hours, as first walkthrough. The main story quest took me to level 48-49 ish and I have to do few quests at the end to get to 50. So overall If you want to mix-max, its better to save Dimensional Contract Tokens to level 50 dungeons and get better value out of token used.

But if i have 150/60 for example, i should just let it be until i reach lvl 50? im guessing its because reaching lvl 50 is easy? i would like to know how easy it is like can we reach lvl 50 within 1day of grinding?

Sounds like typical obstacles devs made for no-lifers so they don't reach endgame so fast else they'll complain that "there's nothing to do". MMOs aren't called "Massive" for no reason. Seems like nothing compared to BDO tho. lol Imma just play casually for immersion and run into these aspects through natural progression. At least this video serves as a good heads up for when I encounter them.

So playing yesterday, none of my grey gear would show up in the Transfer screen. Only the green swashbuckler dagger and the cape I chose. I tried unequipping to see if I could do it that way but it never showed up in the Transfer screen. Is this because it is the grey starter gear?

You have a limit of contracts you can do per day and you get better contracts when you reach higher levels. So if you save your contracts to do when your lvl 50, you would get more from them. Its a min/max strategy, but even if youre a casual player it would be good to hold on to them if they arent above the limit.

Events only pop every 3 hours, and they aren't all there every 3 hours; it's every 3 hours, _one_ of them is up. It's not as bad as it sounds... but sure, doing as many as you can is better.

you get 900 a day, and he had 6000 stored. That's most of a week, and to hear it people are able to level 1-50 in under 12 hours pushing hard on KR... for beta, they said something about increased xp rates, so some of the worries about being level-blocked on the MSQ may not happen in beta.

@@iimalmiii4942 one of the greatsword passives heal you and restore mana when you use skills but you need to upgrade it to epic so it can heal iirc. Its the only one i can remember right now. Probably there is something else now that we have skill upgrades.

theres multiple reasons, for one, it allows working people to keep pace with progress and it also makes sure ppl dont consume all the content in 2weeks by playing 18hours a day and then crying they out of content and need wait 6months for update... basically they rather u play 2hours a day than 18hours. when u consider its an mmo not arpg it makes pretty good sense.

Because business people took over the gaming industry. Their main strategy is to force people to login (because that way they are more likely to buy something from the shop). Having these time-gated daily/weekly content means that you set time aside to login every day so that you don't "waste" the rewards. That's all it is, any other explanation is just copium.

It feels like that just because KR tends to do MMO's suited for mobile and we all know how many tabs and red dots do those tend to have. What's confusing at first in these mobile mmos are the 10-15 different types of currencies you have to recognize and prioritize. Give it a week or two, you wont feel the same.

MMOS were never simpler. If anything, they were more complex. Remember when quests didnt have markers and you had to deduce where you had to go and what you had to do? Its just that people used to READ back then, from quests to skills to items, what everything did, what every button on the UI did. You just stopped reading and expect the game to play itself, for the game to get dumbed down like its meant to be played by 6 years old with down syndrome, and got too used to games holding your hand

Its really simple, though. The game introduce you to all of this bit by bit. Its not like you will log in for the first time at max lvl with all systems unlocked without any explanation. The short video may have been overwhelming for people that have not played the game. My tip for you if you are overwhelmed with the info, just play the open beta without thinking about any of this, do the main quest casually and you will pick up all the system on the way. Its a beta, you dont need to be optimal.

Dunno casual; I've seen claims that in KR people can race 1-50 in 8 hours; doing MSQ and other stuff as efficiently as possible. So for people who aren't try-hards? 16-24 hours, I'd guess, on Global live. Less during beta.

@@davidskidmore3442 thats capping hard lol.. would take a casual at least a week or so cause if you only follow main quests with a few side stuff youre gonna run into gated content - now compared to L2 thats still super fast ofc

I did it casually in the korean server and it probably took around 16 - 18 hours considering that i did it from a saturday to sunday and i play around 8 to 9 hours a day. You will need to do some side quests, though, the main quests have level requirements that sometimes doing only the main quest wont give you enough exp to achieve.

It looks like they save up over time, so you could skip monday to friday and do 60 on saturday. AGS has said they are not putting in the P2W buff that gave extra energy.
