This team was so much fun to watch as they played very unselfishly and any one of their starters as well as Martin or even Lightfoot could make a big play when it mattered most whether it be through scoring or a defensive stop. Rock Chalk!

My dad ran at ku in the 1950s when Wilt played. His ashes were sprea on the hill below the campanile 3 years ago. I ran at ku. Wonderful moments watching this years run to the title.

I've been hard on McCormack for being one of the most inconsistent bigs we've had at KU...but he was SENSATIONAL this tournament. So, so clutch.

I was so happy he was able to find that consistancy he lacked for the first 3.5 years. When he played his best ball starting in the Big 12 tourney, the team hit a new level. Charles Barkley should have to publicly apologize for the crap he was talking on McCormack at halftime of the championship game.

Absouletely I think the turnaround happened in the Big 12 tournament. I was thrilled for him because he had been so inconsistent the first 3.5 years.

During the tournament, I was so nervous during a lot of the games that I couldn't really enjoy it. Watching this just brings how good the team's energy was into focus. They were so cohesive and just present when they needed it most...a total team effort. What a great team and a great tournament run. Would have liked to have seen big dave get the MOP of the final 4 but I think as coach said, everyone knows he deserved it. Just WOW...fun to watch.

Don't know if you noticed but after they cut down the nets Big Mack had the net around his neck. I thought that it must have been given to him by the coach or his teammates then later I saw a couple of interviews with Bill Self who said that he gave the net to McCormack in recognition of his performance.

@@Pidge913 Wilson needs another yr maybe more than any1 in College Hoops! His 6'8 frame can find a CONSISTENT 3pt shot? Mid late 1stRd pick 2023. Wilson won't get drafted until NBA teams see Wilson consistently hits 3pointers. Atm? Wilson is gawd-aweful at 3point shooting. He has everything else except that. (Wilson needs hit +60 3pointers at a +35% clip if he wants to get drafted. He's not ready!) If Braun/Wilson & McCormack came back!!!???4/5 starters returning off 2022 National Title team! Plus three McDonald All Americans coming with three 5*s and one 4*. Kansas has a tp5 recruiting class cming!

@@Pidge913 2022 National Champions! Lol we are good regardless. Imagine being Runner up? If we lost? Well I've seen us lose 3 National Title games and I've seen us win 3 National Title games. Not bad. All in last 35yrs. I was 10yrs old in 1988. Plus we have *3 Modern Day National Titles. Same as UK. (+64 team tournament. Half UK's Titles were won b4 1959! 8 team Tournaments! ) We got great class coming in/tp5 in country plus we have a great true PG in Harris. Braun really "showed out" so he's probably not returning but Harris & Wilson will be enough to stay in tp15-tp10 nxt season. Braun could actually sneak into late 1stRd this yr. Agbaji may be the next star in NBA. He still has hell of upside. But Wilson is crazy. He's not getting drafted until he can prove he can hit 3s consistently. Every 6'6-6'9 SF/PF in NBA CAN hit 3s. Honestly McCormack should come back. Yes he was the shit in 2 gms in Final Four. But he still hasn't shown he can be consistent yet! Come back next yr and ball out all season like he did fr Elite8-Natty? ALL 2022-23 season? DMac will average (14.6ppg/8.6rpg) and be 1st Team All BigXII. THEN?!?! McCormack could go in mid-late 2ndRd 2023 Draft. He's overseas at best atm. Wilson too

No other team was as deep as KU. We had 7 starters and 3 super subs if needed. A total team effort, and the coaches stepped up. Coach's challenge at halftime and DMac's confidence infected everyone. They unleashed a tsunami that UNC took way too long to figure out, whew! And a little luck never hurts. RCJH Baby!!! Class of 64

I think they were the best team by just a bit but I think they were the most loaded team with talent hands down. NC almost beat them even with their big man being injured but again that is part of the game. I watch Kansas when the tourney starts otherwise I never watch them as I am a east coast guy and only have so much time to watch basketball. Congrats to the Jayhawks!!!

I wish we had more games on CBS during the season. Fran is a great ambassador for the Big 12 but he ruins every KU game he calls now. The March Madness crews are the absolute best, even the NBA guys who haven't watched any of our guys play all year.

Harris/Agbaji/Braun/Wilson/McCormack/Martin/Lightfoot? Not being biased. Those 7 guys just blended PERFECTLY to 6 straight wins in 2022 NCAA Tournament. (I see u KJ Adams. His 35 secs of defense just b4 Halftime vs Miami in Elite8? If u know/understand the sport of College Basketball? You then KNOW what that defensive stand by that Freshman did MENTALLY for the rest of the regular Jayhawks 7man rotation. It was HUGE in terms of mentality and confidence.)

I literally believe Remy's energy made the rest Kansas players better. Especially David McCormack. It's what this team had been missing all season! A fiesty/spark-plug like Remy. I'm talking beyond Remy's scoring. It was his confidence/attitude. I truly believe it was contagious in 2022 NCAA Tournament the second he got off the bench vs Texas Southern in Rd1 thru last 7mins of National Title game vs f'ing North Carolina Tarheels!

I think we've finally figured out the formula for Bill Self Kansas team to win a National Championship. Beat a 10 seed in the elite eight + Never trail in the National Semifinal + Beat Villanova during the tournament + Beat UNC during the tournament + Make an unbelievable comeback in the National Championship game. = National Championship. These five things happened for both the 2008 team and 2022 team. Of course, Bill Self with Kansas should win a few more just to be sure.

KU's average recruiting ranking of their starting 5 vs UNC when Kansas offered said player a Scholarship in High School? Prob around #120. It's absolutely NO JOKE! Agbaji was #368 rated recruit when KU OFFERED. Braun was like #182 when KU OFFERED.

I watched them play George Mason New Years Day. KU won but looked a bit soft. Never in my life figured they'd win it all. Then I thought Self wouldn't make it long in Big 12 either. Title won't be vacated....the investigation was about events 4-7 years ago....this team was legit...and can't be taken away...any penalties such as vacated wins will be from like 4 years ago...not this team ...title stands
