Kansas Whitetail - Never Seen So Many Bucks in my LIFE!

TAGNBRAG Nation we are licking our wounds here in Kansas as we continue to bow hunt this special place. Dean hit a really nice 8 point last night and after further review it seems like a non fatal hit. But, it is in our nature to exhaust all options and all efforts to try and find the deer so after a morning hunt we went out to take up the track. After hours of tracking and searching we determined what we had seem on camera to be correct. The deer was not fatally hit and was not going to die. So we brushed off the bad energy and got right back on the saddle. Unbelievably, we had one of the best nights bowhunting in Kansas that we have had in our life. We saw more bucks then we have ever seen in our life in one sitting and another arrow was sent by the end of the night. Lets go!

Pretty sure you guys hunt pretty close to me in ND when you come up here, was out trying to help my dad get a buck and it’s unreal here late season when the deer get all grouped up with snow on the ground, long story short definitely going to try putting feed further down tree line etc they get way too sketchy when they come into it just how it happened to you guys, they already on edge duck so much faster. Watched my dad miss multiple opportunities with mature bucks coming up to feed and they just know you are there even though they don’t see or smell you. Ended up getting him a doe but I wish I had a tag late season here is amazing if u can make it through the sit without freezing your sack off.

Yea we have hunted ND one time in the late season. It was unlike anything I have ever seen. So many deer grouped together it was insane! Its almost hard to hunt them over feed because they do not lay very far away especially when the weather gets rough.

We’ve all been there Dean…. In the heat of the moment, fading light, self filming, etc. My first thought was where you were aiming, (I’m a lower third guy too). Keep grinding… DVB

I love the RX8. Have not shot the RX 9 yet but heard really good things so far. And I agree with you I have heard a lot of mixed things about the Lift. I have not shot that either!

the exact same thing happened to me just a couple days ago thought i smoked him he ran off checked my arrow just a little blood and it rained the next morning couldn’t find a drop of blood safe to say he lived

It was within legal shooting hours. We certainly arent going to film and put ourselves out there by doing things illegally. But the light was fading quick.
