Thank you! Kansept likes to surprise with new variations! Always fun! The jimping is something I picked up from Darrel Ralph. He called it "Tire Tread" I always liked it because it gave just enough grip without crearing a hot spot. Also there are some designs where jimping that goes all the way through the handle ruins the look.

I will probably pick one up as I'm really coming around to the efficacy of wharncliffes. I just got a Spyderco Blade HQ exclusive Yojumbo in M4 and Jade G-10. It's a beautiful blade and it is indeed a wicked, wicked slicer. I'm slowly being converted to a wharncliffe fan for defensive blades.
