Devtas are not god they are demigods and kshetrapal means demigods who protects villages (khstera) ☺️. I am from Himachal Pradesh and here one village malana deity is god parshuram father known as jamblu devta here constitution and laws of india are not followed,here the deity do the justice with the people and he also gives punishment according to the paap they have done can you believe this? 😮

Actually demigod is not the right word. Devta is deity and not demigod. Lord Vishu Lord Shiva etc are supreme gods or paramishwar. Indra is devta. Demigod is a wrong translation. Kuldevta or gramdevta is not really demigod. They are just tiny portions of the supreme gods. But very powerful in their own right.

Hi, Ar Fam. So, Tantra is actually quite hard to translate in english. Basically, in Tantra Tarditions a practitioner or a seeker deals with activated, charged and quite unstable and dark aspects of divinity. These practices and gods worshipped are different from gods worshipped by everyday people in temples and homes. The tantrics worship the Gods Tantric form. Like Ganesh or Ganpati have Hiramba Ganpati form, Kali has Bhadra kali, Tara, Bhairavi and Chamunda form. Lord Shiva has Bhairav, Batuk, form. Goddess Saraswati has Matangi form, Goddess Lakshmi has Kamala form. Interestingly you wouldn't find Vishnu in tantric form generally. But once you go deeper you would even find tantric form of gods that mostly are revered as calm and peaceful.

The Abrahamic concept of GOD is not synonymous with Devata..A devata can be more suitably translated to as a demigod who has mastery over some element like fire water,air or alchemy etc...GOD should be equivalent to Brahman or Nirakar As0ect of Bhagwan..The abrahamic concept of some entity sitting in heaven and ruling over libing beings is a childish concept..GOD is a morphogenetic consciousness field not some guy/woman in heaven!
