Its not everyday that you wake up to a python in a residential area & that qualifies it to be a news item. Also the mystery aspect makes for a good news story, "how did it get there" "could it be witchcraft related" hence translating to tongues wagging & a news story! I've stayed in kanyama my whole life, the only animals you can find are rats, lizard and birds. Others are cats and dogs. You can't find a wild animals in kanyama. That's probably what has shocked the people. However I also agree with you that not everything should be linked to witchcraft. Am sure there is a good explanation
