He is the most experimental producer I've ever heard and as a producer and composer, I absolutely adore everything his work. He has an eye and ear for art. Just look at his shows. He knows what to do, how shit should sound, how it should look, who he should work with to get his vision onto a stage. He's just creativity done right. Eminem is probably the best rapper, but that's all he is. A great rapper and songwriter.

Today I stumbled upon this concert again and... I can't believe it's already 7 years since it happened. This whole concert happened 7 years after 808s was released and at that time it looked oh so long ago. And apparently this concert is now in the middle of the timeline between the album release and today. It's really hard to grasp how fast the time flies. How much has happened in Kanye's life and in every one of ours lives too. And especially, how that Pinnochio Story freestyle hits ever harder now. Wow, I was one of the background girls in those pillowcases lol. On rehearsal day, the original concept was that we were suppose to walk up beige staircases with no railings while wearing heels, PLUS the coverings we were wearing were supposed to be wet [idk..Kanye's concept]. However, all the girls complained bc it was going to be dangerous for us to do that and we were not getting paid like that. I actually didn't care bc I was going to be on stage with one of my favorite rappers. I even took off from a crappy job I had at the time for 2 days, because how many chances would I get like this??
