1/ he was there to support Dre mainly , it's not kind of things he really likes to do 2/ He gave up half his time to bring 50 cent as guest so as each performed their main hit or any song related to California / LA and dr Dre ( 2 songs each ) he did quick introduction related to dr Dre with " forgot about dre " then his most iconic song " lose yourself " since he has no song related to the city . So based on time he had and fact that it's not really his thing he did more than great , his part considered one of BEST in this whole performance according to critics ( many big celebrities came specifically to watch him live ) @@JoshBellWilson

Em was better , according to some magazines critics Mary and Kendrick were weakest coz of songs choice , Em needed no dancers , no choreography only his presence to get loudest shout from audience .

i was in high school when snoop and dr.. dre became big. my parents hated me listening to this music.. but my mother actually liked this show.. we're all old now (dr. dre and snoop included - lol).. i don't listen to new rap music like Cardi B or Megan the Stallion because it is bullshit.. this was real rap music.. i don't think they can top this show unless they bring ice cube next time 🤣 i actually heard a DJ playing music in a sports bar one time.. so i asked him to play "Ain't Nuthin But a G Thang".. when he played it, most the 20 - 30 year old crowd sang along.. they weren't even born when that song came out..

You know you're having a blast when a near 15 minute half-time show felt like 2 minutes. We didn't want this to end. Being born in the 80's and growing up in the 90's makes most of us grateful to experience these legends and these brilliant songs when they first came out. Listening to them in elementary school, high school, college and as a 34 year old. Shows that Old School Hip-Hop will forever be the best and will never die....not as long as we're still around.

@5Q this is a MASSIVE cap… of course it depends on the genre of rap you’re looking at, if it’s mindless headbangers then obviously you’re going to get nothing but an amazingly produced beat but in this situation you’re talking about actual lyrical creators so your statement is just false… because you’re talking about the rappers in this performance and all of these “rappers” are artist… literally straight up poets because it’s not just rhyming words… obviously we can do that… there’s more to rap than that… Kendrick Lamar listen to his album To Pimp a Butterfly and get back to me because this is just completely false. There is alot more work craftmanship and effor to put into making a good song. Let alone an album. If not interested in listening to an entire album I’d recommend the song Untitled.06 he does more than rap and has a beautiful vocal performance with CeeLo Green. And of course Eminem is another level of an artist listen to the song “Beautiful” he has an amazing vocal singing the hook with very clever word play and delivery….

Crazy to see how a few years ago these artists weren’t really talked about cause they had their time in history , then they all deal with a situation and bounce back then come back to music and back to the public eye in a major way to make another impact on history . It’s crazy to see how much has changed

Mostly, but none of them are "15 min of fame" players... Each (except Kendrick so far) has put in DECADES and become legends in their field. I think- when you've been so instrumental to a culture/era/ l industry- you never really fall off or bounce back. Like how the sun disappears daily, but it's always present. Just my opinion!
